Hello,
I am new to this whole jailbreaking and have a few questions before I do it to my iPod.

1) Can I restore to official 3.0 firmware after applying the jailbreak?

2)Can I develope with Xcode and the 3.0 SDK Kit on my iPod without registering with Apple? I am just learning and really don't want to shell out $99/year at this point. I have heard that they are banning developers that are using jailbroken hardware. Can they tell if it is jailbroken?

3) Can you still download off of iTune?

1) Yes, but it will un-jailbreak your device

2) You can probably download the software for free but you won't be an official developer, so you wouldn't be able to let apple host your apps. I just got my dad to pay for it though!
Unless you tell them, no there's no way they can tell.

3) Oh yes, everything that you could download before.
