3.0 GM, battery percentage indicator

where do you access it, i do not have it and have restored the phone on 3.0 twice now...where can i find how to enable it or what not?

i dont know where you saw this or who told you this but there is not battery percentage indicator in 3.0, stop wasting your time restoring (feel bad for you that you did it twice lol).the people that had it, had it because there was leftover data from being jailbroken and having it.

^ Sorry bud but not true. It can only be enabled by jailbreaking. I suspect it will be in the final release of 3.0 on Wednesday. You have to edit a plist in your coreservices to allow the toggle to appear in the usage section of your settings.

i read that it will only be available to 3gs and not the 3g

yeah i know you can do it with a JB but atm there is no jailbreak for GM and thats what he is asking about, i posted the link to fsm which has your method and another


also when i meant it will only be available for 3gs i meant out of the box the 3gs will have the battery % indicator, no need to hack
while for the 3g we would have to edit the plist
