Am I going crazy or wasn't there turn-by-turn coming in 3.0?

no you're not crazy, but it is only available in 3rd party apps. so now we're waiting on tomtom to make an app.
Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

I hope TomTom does this app right and we'll have to download and install a huge file for it. Meaning, the best GPS app's are the ones that you have the Maps already installed, cause the ones that have you download while you're driving flatout suck! I'd rather use 2G's of space on my iphone for Maps if I could have a smooth TBT GPS app like I did on my Tilt.

At this point in time, we only have Sygic (for Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, USA, and Europe), and Navigon (only available for Europe ATM).
Navigon has 100% iPhone UI, whereas Sygic is like a typical specialised GPS so it is not an user friendly to use.
