Cool, I never used AIM that much when I had it installed though. Useless without being able to have it in the background.

Ya same here. Very cool app tho and am really excited for other Push Apps.

WHen you are signed in, you get notified in seconds of the IM to your username. The notifications popup like a text message using the typical AIM sounds.

Bold notification box is the program AIM Beta and then the content is the users SN and the message.

Is there any way to get this if you are not a dev?

Not that I know of. They send out the email with the redeem code and said you are selected to participate. I got another one previously to test the push service with a special app from Apple.

The last one only was live for a few days and expired. I assume this one will work for another week when 3.0 goes public

when the aim beta app is downloaded is it like the other apps? Maybe the .ipa could be uploaded somewhere?
