Android OS on iPhone (Can someone do it?)

I was wondering if someone could port the Android OS to the iPhone now that the Android SDK source code is released. If I knew how, I would try to myself, but I don't.

doable yes, everything is possible, probable no. Android is based on linux. Check out iphonelinux.org they are working on making linux bootable/functional. A full android port seems possible but is highly unlikely. Hope I am wrong but that is the current state of things.

Ok. Well if either Windows Mobile or Android were fully ported to iPhone, that would be cool.

Upgrade to the RC1. The 64 bit version runs much better on my iPhone than the previous versions.

DeafMac, don't be silly. I'm running a Commedore's 64 OS on my iphone. It just sucks carrying around a floppy drive that holds all my contacts.

Until you are running Sabayon on your little toys you have not unlocked the true iPhone experience.
