How to change ipod.app icon on iphone?
does anyone know how to change the ipod icon on my homescreen of iphone... any help appreciated
For Firmware 2.2
Am I late in answering? It has changed at least once...
With FW 2.2, the "iPod" icon in the dock -- that ugly-assed orange thing -- is a file called "icon-MediaPlayer.png".
To replace it, you need Jailbreak (obviously) and ssh (obviouslyx2). From the Mac OS X Terminal...
% scp new-icon.png <root_at_iphones_ip>:/Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/icon-MediaPlayer.png
Where <root_at_iphones_ips> is something like "[email protected] ".
Reboot or restart SpringBoard, and you're off.
