Programing
so i went and bought this book

programming in objective c 2.0
to start my adventure in iphone development, now im downloading xcode to get started with chapter 1
thoughts/opinions?

I'd also recommend iPhone Open Application Development.

iPhone Open Application Development | O'Reilly Media
It's probably aimed at more of beginner style coding for the iPhone.
I know that it helped me out a ton.

I have no knowledge of objective C or cocoa, would that book gear Me towards that cuz I would go out and buy that book now!

Actually, the book I suggested is mostly for Toolchain. I don't know if you have the official SDK, or just the Toolchain.
That book is for beginning Objective-C on a coding only platform, not the official SDK.
