i have a 3g on beta 4 and i had just tried to put a few songs on my developing iphone on my way to work today to listen to in the car. as i was checking the sort tabs of artists, albums, playlists etc. i noticed the song files showed up in all these except there are no songs in the "genres" section. i have at least 10 songs on my phone. all tagged correctly as i am uptight about how precise my music collection is.

any idea of what might be wrong?

There is some random issues with the iPod app in this release. I have noticed it when playing it on shuffle or a playlist and suddenly the artist, title, and album say UNKNOWN.
