you must have the itunes 8.2 update before upgrading your phone. You will be stuck in restore mode without it!

You better be having a giraffe, I've just fininshed restoring and jailbreaking beta 3 for the umpteenth time after getting stuck at the Apple logo for doing something stupid (trying to install Swirley MMS - it didn't work but the iphone did fine until I rebooted it)

No need to ever reboot, install categories and there's a respring button inside the app. Fixes any of the bugs in seconds! I'm loving iPhone 3.0!!

Lol good point. I actually have Respring installed on my phone to do it on demand. Never thought of it.

It doesn't bother me much, I RARELY ever call anyone that isn't in my phone book.

Other than that I have been VERY happy with all the betas! C'mon 4

Beta 1 sucked. I got rid of it cuz it was so unstable and crashing. I barley could use my phone or any AppStore apps. After that tho, its been nothing but up.

I really like 3.0. Beta 3 was pretty good minus the call button going missing. But I went back to 2.2.1 because I really like having a wallpaper.

Cant you just change it similar to the transparent dock?

From what I was told there nothing to change. WinterBoard is needed to do that. The dock is there so you can change that. But there is no wallpaper to change. I wish there was.
