iphone 3.0 beta 2 baseband preseved?

Hi Everyone,

Question,. Can anyone confirm on an iPhone 2G that the 3.0 beta 2 firmware does not update the baseband therefore preserving the existing unlock? I'm currently running 2.2.1 and baseband: 4.05.04_G with T-Mobile

It does not upgrade the baseband. Goto the 3.0 guide in the jailbreaking section. First post has photos of someone running tmobile on 3.0 and old baseband
