I have a problem? Help

Hi,
I have 3.0 on my iphone and its working okeyy but then the silent switch on my iphone 3g just fell of yesterdsay when switching to silent and now i cant change it with out using a somthing small to flick it.

Secondly i have like a patch that looked like dead or stuck pixles that i had before i upgraded to 3.0 beta but then they are now showing up white when the phone is off and black then its on so what are they?
I have insurance with o2 on my iphone and it can be repaired or i can send it to apple and get them to do it but i have 3.0 installed, will that cause a problem or anything or can i just send it to them with 3.0 on?

Its probably a silly question.

You wont be a problem if you are a developer. If you are added to a dev account and running it, I dont see them giving you problems. If you activated it via a jailbreak and quickpwn, i would be concerned.

yeah i was added by a dev to his account. But if they asked about where i got the actual firmware?

Just say you are a beta tester for 3.0 software by a developer.

Okey thanks i need to go in to the apple store and they said i will get a replacement strait away.
