Jailbreak and use backgrounder is the closest you are going to get.

I always had a problem with it closing the first app when I open up another.

I dunno. This 'contacting Apple' thing is way out there. It's a long shot, but it may just be the final piece in the multi-tasking jigsaw. Contact them shitou; be firm with them. Polite but firm. Do that and we shall look forward to multi-tasking goodness in approximately 37.3 days

You mean runining with backgrounder multi apps? I havent tried really.

I just run pandora or something in the back ground and go app to app as i need.
