I have to make an iPhone app for one of my classes, but I'm not sure what I should try to make.
I also have 0% experience with the SDK and am only vaguely familiar with Obj-C.
My professor suggested an easy kids' game or similar.

My question is, what is something I can make that may look like it took some work, but is easy to make on the back-end?

what teacher gives you an assignment without teaching you anything related to it? You could do tic tac toe that is controlled by shaking the phone....That would look impressive to someone who's never used the phone

The class is (now) an independent study type thing. I'm using Apple's resources and Erica Sadun's book as my teaching material.
I like the tic-tac-toe idea, its what I was thinking as well. I forgot all about using the accelerometers though! I'll definitely work that in somehow. Thanks!
