i am using the xcode 3.1 for development and
my i touch has the framework version 2.1 installed


and my application working well in the Simulator 2.0

Why don't you tell us what, exactly, you are trying to do. Where does this error come up and what are you installing?

Is this when you're trying to sync up your applications?
Seems like a lot of people are having this error (including myself)
At the moment I don't think there are many options.

if re-syncing isn't working, I think the only other choice is a restore. (yes, annoying, but I don't think here's anything else.)

my Application is working very much fine on similuator

but during the testing phase i get that error

i tried to restore my iphone on inphone os 2.0 and 2.1 both but the result is same

i am a registerd user of i phone developer program (i payed $99 to apple for it)


one more thing that is strange for me i think that may be the problem but i don't know any thing more about it


"when i try to debug or release my application i found only two options
1 suimulator os 2.0
2 device iphone os 2.0 (project setting)

but i think there i need on other option as well that is like Device iphone os 2.0 when i have the iphone os 2.0 installed on my phone and Device iphone os 2.1 when i have the iphone os


i seen these option in a image during my googling

at last i got the solution

just change your bundle identifier in the info.plist file as bellow

com.mycompany.appliction.*


mycompany==> your company name as in proviosing profile.
application ==> Application name as is in target application name

I get this error and I have tried to follow the solution. I have located the spot where to make this change, but I really don't know what to change it with. I am already enrolled and I have paid the fee of $99.00. I have confirmed that my software and versions are all up to date. The documentation is not easy reading and so many things are mentioned that I just don't get (yet). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me. I just want to get my sample app to export to my iPhone at this point. I have tried so many things and I must be missing the essential. I have done programming for web-based apps that interact with data bases, but never for apple products. There is a large valley in between the two worlds. I am trying to get the hang of it. I could really use some assistance to get me passed the training wheels stage. What are the steps to get an app to load onto my iPhone from my Mac. For instance.. assume that I have done nothing other than follow the basic install steps and downloaded the sample apps. I can run the sample app on my Mac, but I cannot get them to export to my iPhone for testing. How do I make this happen? PLEASE HELP!!

Guys, ths solution is to have a hacked phone and goto the folder:

/Private/var/mobile/Media/PublicStaging/

delete all the crap in there...these are copies of your deployed apps and they screw things up...

Use mobilefinder to delete the files, or ssh, or afp......whatever you choose just know that some apps like the accelerometergraph sample code STILL give me the error and can't be deployed.

I found this info at this guys web blog, he dumped the file system and then got the error and redumped the filesystem to scan for changes.....give him the credit I am just spreading the word.
