Im writing Python Programms for about a year now.
Both on windows and Mac.
Now, i wanted to try something on the iphone.
Some small scripts are allready working.
But i havenīt achieved to use the TKinter Gui Toolkit which normally is directly installed with Python.
I found a folder on the iPhone after installing python named lib-tk.
Do you have any knowledge about a GUI Toolkit working on the iphone?

you can install pyOBJC and use the UIKit to make GUI apps with python. To do that you have to install Cydia - another packaging system like Installer which is a loooooot better than Installer because it uses the Debian APT system.
To get that add http://apptapp.saurik.com/alpha.xml to your Installer sources and install Cydia. Cydia will also install a BSD Subsystem replacement with more recent versions of the programs (for example passwd works) and so on.
Then use Cydia to install python (dont forget to remove the Installer version first) and pyOBJC. To get the very first version to work you had to do some stuff manually, but I think this has been fixed in the most recent version of pyOBJC. If not, you have to ask in the irc channel #iphone at irc.saurik.com for what to do because I dont remember anymore.
