App store apps to work on 1st gen software?

Ok I want to get the facebook app on my 1st gen 1.1.3 phone. I downloaded the app on the app store on itunes. I basically took the meathod of taking cracked apps and ssh the app to my phone and converted the isp to app. Except i cant use itunes to drop the program into my phone like the 2.0 verson. The app opens up but crashes. Has anyone done this successfully?

Not gonna happen...you may have noticed those if us on 2.0 waiting for ports of the old apps to our new phones. It's a two way street...apps need to be coded for each new major FM version.

That said, FB has a pretty good iPhone optimized site. Give it a shot!

the facbook has it's limitations: you can't search for new friends or see the news feed I still prefer the main site even on my iPhone.

I have them both on my iPhone for the FB app's camera. Otherwise, the website is just better for my purposes.
