For the iPhone 4 do you restore it for the unlock to work? Or just pop sim in

  5. #25
Restore or deactiviate using redsnow and pop in new sim and plug into iTunes or you can restore

  6. #26
Ok thanks but just to make sure I can't just do the re-set all settings? Where it takes me to the activtion I have to do it a normal restore or in redsnow

As long as you didn't originally hactivate the phone all you have to do is put a non-att sim in the phone and connect to iTunes. iTunes will say failed to activate. Unplug it and plug it back in and you then should get "congratulations your iPhone has been unlocked" message.

    Default prices
Why is your T-mobile U.S. unlock for the the iphone 5 so expensive? Metro PCS does it for 40$, so I'm sure there is a place that does it for even less. Not trying to be a jerk but maybe finding that place would help you lower the unlock price and get more business.

I guess I read that wrong but I am with Simon.
I see on there site their plans start at $40 dollars but they don't unlock your phone. They are just a service provider

I went to my local metro pcs store to ask about unlocking now that they have a 100$ rebate for bringing your phone to metro. The said that they will unlock my t-mobile Iphone for $40 and i will get a $100 rebate/gift card for bringing my phone and number. T-mobile owns metro so I figured I wouldnt have to unlock it but I guess thats not the case.

If Tmobile owns them then that is why they are able to give you a better price. You will find most unlock services will be in line price wise with what cowboy has, or even more in some cases.
