Personally if it still has warranty take it to apple yes you run a risk of not being able to jailbreak.
I personally take my phones to apple of they are with in warranty even tho I know I can fix them. But it's free lol.

Totally up to you what you to do if you want me to replace it I will. But I am not going to tell you taking it to apple is a bad idea lol
