Will design a custom iPhone/iTouch SummerBoard theme for $5/ea. Please PM me with the following:

- What you want for the background (any pictures/colors you want)
- The font/images you want for the buttons (will only do the standard set, $.50 for each additional application)

Thats just a simple theme for free and you charge money? what a joke! Good luck though, wish I could make a job out of it.

Excuse me? At least I put some effort in my work to make it look nice and artistic. To be honest, a LOT of the themes out there look like they've been thrown together, little alone don't really look good aswell. I'm not saying that they aren't original, but they don't appeal much to me.

And you have to think, the iPhone is supposed to be appealing to the masses, not just computer geeks like us. Believe me, if you can get into the market of making SummerBoard themes, then you'll probably have a good deal. I think it'd be cool for Apple to open up an iPhone theme store, you know how much revenue that'd bring? LOADS!

But yeah, I've found that so far my themes have been commented on the basis that they're so different from the computer/tech stuff out there. It's not like it takes five minutes for me to put it together either. I start with a blank space and start mixing up brushes, backgrounds, etc until I like what I'm seeing. Then I figure out, hmm, what would look good on this and start to figure out my text placement and the design of that.



This for example took me a hour to make because I had to try different arrangements of brushes and find something that looked right. The final wallpaper didn't go with the text and covered the model's head so I had to move her in a direction that wouldn't cover her face. I think it turned out really cute though, it reminds me of something but I'm not sure what.

But yeah, don't blame me for trying to make some profit out of my work, I'm very proud of it and I know that at least some people would love it.

I think your backgrounds are great, but anyone could make the icons like that. And a great background isn't worth paying $5 for.

well lots of apps you have to pay for and most of em suck your2face,camera pro, showtime and voice dialer to name a few
so why not bring this to summbeored themes im all for it!
o yer and song bird your themes rock if i had a credit card i would defiantly by one (or two)

Haha, I know. I wouldn't say no to just putting a fiver in the post though.

you know what, for 5 bucks thats a good service. Very useful for someone (like my mom) that isnt good with photoshop/ doesnt know what they are doing but still wants a cool looking phone.

Just a suggestion to songbird, perhaps you should advertise your service on craigs list, most members on here know how to throw together a theme (at least id like to think they do.. haha)

Think about the actual power users of the izPhone who have around 5- - 60 apps.

$5 for the standard apps.
.50 for additional apps.

60-14 (standard apps) 46
.50*46 = 23
23 + 5 = 28 dollars for a good theme.

Against the 0 I pay for themes that are far superior than these on MTF.

Well, I guess I can lower my rates on the additional icons, but please think in terms of how many orders I could be getting and how many icons I would be doing. I don't want to be doing multiple other buttons in 20 different fonts. Depending on the font, each icon would take a minute or two to do.

30 apps = an hour

It's not like I'm just changing the colors either. I'm adding texture, shadows, among other stuff to them to make them stand out more. I'm not copying and pasting the same thing over and over again.
