Sorry about the hold up on the BiteSMS theme. There seems to be an issue with the background on iP5. I've tested it with both the public and Beta releases of BiteSMS, and it's fine on iP4. If you're not running the Beta version of BiteSMS, I will include an optional plist to fix one small issue with the current public Bite release.

I'll work closely with dmick and Marty to get this issue sorted as quick as possible. We have all the colours sorted, and only a few remaining UI images before this is ready to go. Thank you for your patience.

I think we got it sorted. If there's any issues when released, I'll send you a PM with a Beta link, and any help would be much appreciated. I'll try and finish it up so it has a chance to go live sometime this weekend. Thank you.

I have removed an iconomatic I shared here that included an overlay I thought to be made by Schnedi and a shadow made by Sketch. I had Sketch's approval and should have sought Schnedi's, but it turns out it was from a paid theme, Patience. I am sorry and I have contacted Zoo to let him know about my error and my wish to donate additional money because of it. My apologies.

To those who downloaded the package already, please do not share.

Edit: Schnedi has confirmed what I shared was not part of a paid theme. If someone would like that icono package of the overlay and Sketch shadow, PM me.

No problem David. Glad the confusion has been cleared up. Schnedi's overlay, and my shadow...you have full consent from both artists, so share away when you have time. Thank you.

    Default 3 4 Biting
Hi there, and happy start to the weekend

The BiteSMS theme has been submitted to Cydia, and awaiting approval. I decided to release it now, so that any issues can be rectified easier with more devices to test on. Currently it's optimized for the latest BiteSMS Beta. If you're running BiteSMS v8.2 (current public build), I've included an alternate Info.plist that you can enable, and it should sort out the readability of the blue and green "Send" buttons whilst inside the main App. For those running my "3 4 All [UI]" package, I still recommend applying "3 4 Biting.theme" through Winterboard, as it contains images I've yet to add to the main UI. Thank you, and enjoy

    :: 3 4 Biting Features ::
    -Full In-App theme.
-UI Images included in the Winterboard theme, for a full experience.
    -Unique QC/QR Pop-Up.
    -A creative custom made ChatKit.

Thank you to Vic, dmick, Marty, and Alfroggy for their help and feedback during the design process.

The screenshots don't do this BiteSMS theme justice. It looks great in those shots, but it looks way better on your phone. The colors are fantastic. Glad to have been a part of the testing. Thank you.

Cydia is the best option on this one I think. There's several parts to the theme, and instillation is easier. I'll be uploading it to my beta repo so that people can help fix any bugs if they wish to participate....but that'll have to wait till later, as it's 3:30am, and I still have a few things to finish on the repo side. Thank you.

There's nothing on it. Still trying to figure out if I should setup a private repo, or go with the public one that's pretty much ready to go. I have a lot of icon requests to get to, and some UI images are almost ready for submission to MMi, so I'll get those out of the way, and then work out what I'm going to do.

The Beta repo is setup and waiting just in case the BiteSMS package needs multiple small updates to fix bugs that need testing on iP5 devices. I'll post the repo here when the time comes. Thank you.

BiteSMS theme is live in Cydia Just a reminder that there's a winterboard theme included for those that want the full SMS skin with other themes. I had to split it, because BiteSMS wouldn't apply the UI images through the main Bite package. Thank you, and enjoy

Hey Sketch, thanks for keeping up with this awesome theme
I don't use Bite sms but you say there's a themed SMS in winterboard, I get just the regular boring white background... Can you pls tell how I can apply it? Same with phone keypad (I read your comment in Coffee Diary thread) I have your phone buttons but white bg...

The winterboard part of BiteSMS contains the ChatKit images from my "3 4 All (UI)" package. They're included in the BiteSMS WB theme, so that the images are isolated and can be run with other UI. People simply run that theme above their active UI, or they merge it with their custom theme (as most heavy modders do). Separation of the images also allows the BiteSMS theme to be used with different chat bubbles. Users simply apply the skin through the BiteSMS app (Settings-> Apply Theme), and don't run the WB part, allowing my colours to be applied to another themes ChatKit, and UI images.
As said, they're the same images used in my UI theme, but stock MSGs only allows the colour masking method with the standard blue and green bubbles, and white BG.

Same with the phone dialler. It is important to realise that some aspects of iOS7 can't be changed, unless you run an extensive amount of tweaks. So from a design point of view, it's my MO to blend the custom images with the stock UI with as little tweaks as possible. There are lots of options out there for the more advanced iOS6 style looks, but you read on CD that it takes 3 tweaks just to get the phone looking like iOS6, but then there's elements within the phone app UI that'r still flat.....so it's still not a smooth transition. Ultimately you end up with a slightly flawed UX in the end anyway.
The grey screenshots you've seen me post of the keypad, is the Lockscreen passcode.

Sorry for any confusion. Thank you.

Thanks for the swift and detailed answer, like you I know I can use some more tweaks to get the desired appearance but I'm trying to cut down on these, I don't want to increase the probabilities of a conflict between them.
