Default miLock Cydget You don't want to miss this.
    Hello MMI!

I have learned some amazing things here lately. I would like to share them with you, along with miLock Cydget

First off miLock Cydget. miLock has been an amazing lockscreen. With its many versions leading to the entire miFamily.

All of these which were designed with one thing in mind. That a user shouldn't have to enter a text editor to adjust there settings. Thats what miLock is all about.

Now as far as I have come with miLock, I have found out that i've been doing this all wrong. Which I knew I was. Coding a keyboard, when a phone comes with one. Tells you you're doing something wrong.

These were just work arounds to get, where you could enter settings, and change things without opening any code.

BUT I have found something hiding in the deep dark crevises of cydia. It is called Cydgets. Created by non other than Saurik himself.

I really have no clue how I missed this. It is really amazing, and hope I can show you what it can do.

So far I have a package together. Only I have tested it. So we will go through a beta process then I will upload to cydia.

I have spent many hours the last few days playing with Cydgets. Ive even been able to open camera roll on your lockscreen. Select from your actual camera roll, and distribute across multiple Cydgets to be there wallpaper, open keyboard to enter settings, use of local storage and much more.

I would be more than happy if your joined in the forum, lets see what we can do with Cydgets.

I have wrote a few articles on Cydgets to get you familiar

    Nice June!

I've messed with Cydget several times over the last few years, but unfortunately, no one else has. I'm glad to see someone with some real visibility take it on.

Also we want to start a campaign to change the name to WinterLock! I think more people would relate to it better, as that's what it really is.

Looking forward to where you take it. I believe instead of the cookie method, it will write to data bases as I have messed around with Rasputin007.

If you are looking for beta help, let me know. I've already got Cydget running.

I think it should be separate from winterboard. Winterboard is so restrictive. Meant for changing images only.
Cookies are no more for me. LocalStorage seems great. Still tinkering with a couple packages. I will upload today.

    Sounds good June
Keyboard part was a nice tip too

I've had Cydget installed but just never used it.
Not really looked further in it aside from throwing a few locks in.
No one has been using it so it has been kinda put back.

Good start for a thread my man

    Download: "Cydgets"

More about Cydgets and the packages I released.

Lockscreen Clock hide is not needed. This is taken care of by Cydgets. Cydgets also work on iPad. If you haven't read What is a cydget please do.

    Packages: Included is setbackground.cydget, miLock.cydget, and JunesGraphics.cydget.

setbackground.cydget This is where you pick your backgrounds. Click choose files. This will open your camera roll and you can choose a file for the background. This can work across any cydget. meaning all you have to do is add a simple code to any lockscreen, and it will use that image. More explanation..

miLock.cydget I was updating the first miLock when I ran across this. Reason we are using miLock. It is not the original anymore I have added rotation/scaling to all weather elements. This wasn't introduced until miLock Pro. It also has been modified to use the iPhone keyboard to set location. This isn't finished, but should work perfectly.

JunesGraphics.cydget This has two buttons you can click. One goes to the Cydgets blog, other to JunesGraphics. This is still unfinished. As of now it is full page, live webpage. You can view the websites in their entirety, scroll just as normal, and zoom in. Next updates should provide a way to visit other urls.

Thats it for now. All of this is free to you, I just ask for your feedback and help to make it better. This will be uploaded to cydia when finished, at the same price as miLock.

Nice! On miLock the values are saved as cookies. ATM. To delete and try again go to the location glyph and press reset. If you used miLock before that cookie is still there. Wait that cannot be right. It only pops up when the cookie value is null. Did you get 3 popups?

If you go to JunesGraphics.cydget, click themes, cydia, miLock, Open in cydia. The phone will unlock and open cydia.

    Link is up.

Both are working fine for me. I did notice a typo. It should be a lowercase f. If choosing Fahrenheit.

If you entered lowercase f let me know, I will upload the package on my phone.
