If they do can you send me a fix?
The fix is to change the height values in the LockBackground.html file in the miLock.cydget folder to 480

The better fix will be to make the height a variable and then do a screen size check to set the correct height for the variable.

Can't seem to get it thanks king! But like this cydgets thing! If it would have took off awhile ago we would be getting lockscreen packs for each theme! 6 different locks with all different info easily shuffled through with home button can't beat that!

    There's a lot more to it. http://www.reddit.com/r/iOSthemes/co...sk37ch/cc6odqj

As you can see it can interact with obj-c. Meaning merging cydgets to be more like tweaks.

    http://iphonedevwiki.net/index.php/Cycript

A lot of learning to do.

If you get the last package I uploaded. Swipe right above the dock icons will appear. You can touch the app and it will open. Use a urlscheme for example tweetbot://user_profile will open tweetbot. Believe that's what Durben was asking about.

Ok so I added a few locks just like in your description but for some reason I have an extra piece under my status bar of each 1? Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? And June tried local storage like you asked and still no go even downloaded kings up and still damn wallpapers won't work?

Here's image of space under status bar?

Top placement for Cydgets is 0px.
It kinda works how perpage does and starts under the statusbar.
So if you've taken a winter board lockscreen and just placed it in it will be 20px lower than when it shows through winterboard. You need to move all elements up that amount.

This has some icons that open apps.
Swipe right above the dock. Simple urlscheme.

I have figured out linking apps, showing notifications, unlocking by button, and also pulling info from apps. Missed calls, text messages ect. In cyscript. Via terminal. I have yet to be able to pull them in a HTML yet. Hopefully soon.

If you would like to see here is the code via terminal.

    ssh root yourip

    yourpassword

ps ax | grep Spring -here we are will get the number from springboard

cycript -p numberfromspringboard -Add number we got

[[SBAwayController sharedAwayController] unlockWithSound:NO] -when code executes device will unlock.

You should be able to run cyscript via html by Your code

This isn't working for me, so seeing what I missed. I have an idea its running the script, just not in springboard. I asked on irc, we will see.

I'm still following you bro. Trying to absorb this as well, again. I'm just glad that there are people like you that are tenacious enough to dig for answers. I don't mind digging, but I'm old and learning takes longer.

It does not get better once you are over 50!

    @June
    Great work!
The Winterboard team always said to use Cydget to enhance themes rather then pushing "Website design" in LockBackground.html.
I and certainly a lot of others will appreciate your work with Cydgets, especially to make us understand how to use it with examples and explaining what that code does.
Cydgets will change themeing as you now have Objective-C at your disposal, but it requires a steep learning curve for themers. Hence your inital work is of such importance to guide us to this new subject.
Just thinking about the new possibilities Cydgets can open makes me wanting to play with it, but as King said if you are old you can see your "Best before date".

Not much of an update. It has come down to me "text book" learning obj c. I do have some history with C, but not much.

Obj-c is a little different, but familiar. I am now learning how things work. Down to how things are layered in memory.

So far still blown away. Every second I get I'm reading, watching searching.

This doesn't mean that every themer will have to learn obj C. It is not needed in cycript for cydgets.

What is needed is finding things that do stuff. And finding what info you can change. < rewrote in English

It is a process of going through and exporting a header of the file or app (example Springboard has its own header) The header file basically has all your items that are used. So if you dump this file you get all activities, functions, pointers of the springboard. If you make your own app you can see this header in .h in Xcode. Of course not the springboard header, but serves the same purpose. Tweaks like barrel manipulate this code from the springboard header.

Once you have these files you can then disect them and change them. That's the tough part. To use this whole action, you first have to understand how it works. Hence me learning obj-c. Otherwise it's just walking files and trying random things. Which is very time consuming and not helpful for either of us.

Now why wouldn't themers need to learn obj-c? Because just as [[SBAwayController sharedAwayController] unlockWithSound:NO]
Works on my device, it will work on yours.

Since we are talking themes, I don't think much will be needed. Maybe launching apps, settings, changeUIText color, unlock device, show missed calls, etc simple things.

All we need is that one line or couple of lines like the above. That we can edit. Once we have them, themers won't have to figure it out. They will just implement into there code. So in theory they would never need to learn obj c, just need to know JavaScript. Simple JavaScript.

    More soon.

Thank you June for bringing innovation to our devices. A very interesting read. Cheers to everyone else here that provides feedback, to help work through little bugs.
