Agreed, Van. So much smack about tweaks on here. But there is a confirmed boot loop jail break loss from "Atom". But only 1. And no confirmed JB losses from BDPro or iCleaner.

Getting caught in SafeMode doesn't require a restore either. Some have restored too quickly.
No it was clearly battery doctor pro. They all said it. Walked thru their last steps of having a jailbreak with us.
I'm kit busting your chops. But it has been the buster of some people's break.
Not trying to argue with you either. Just don't have time to dig up those people's post. Lol. But seriously. I wouldn't argue the point if we didn't all see it first hand. Battery doctor pro has a cleaning feature. And as I understand. It is a lengthy process. And exited put while running was the issue. I think. I dunno. Cause I don't own it. I don't think anyone has guaranteed that Battery Doctor Pro is a jailbreak killer. All I've read is people saying to be careful and there is nothing ridiculous about spreading the word about being careful with it or with features of it.

For the record people have also said good things about it. Whose right and whose wrong? Lol. There are many I'm sure using Atom with no issues. Has every person who has installed that tweak lost their jailbreak?

There is a difference in being cautious and jumping the gun. I lean on the side of caution.

I use Icleaner to clean my device. I don't use Icleaner pro for the same reason...I'm cautious as I've heard people have issues with it.

I'm not saying that this post means BDP was the culprit, but....

I use eyeglass cleaner and microfiber cloth to clean my device. Warning: You have to know how to use it or you could damage your device.

That case was confirmed by several helping the poster - that's the difference.

    And who are they?
The mighty we know why you had to restore and lose your jb confirmers of the universe?

Maybe they got a bad copy from an unauthorized repo. They won't admit it. Maybe they tried to theme it with wrong file sizes. Maybe it's another conflict.

It stands to reason that if it is the tweak then it would be most devices it touches. It's not so it is something else on their systems or something they did wrong.

I suspect bdp only messes with phones that try to clean the Chinese language off the phone.

    Get it?

If a phone is dead clean - then the addition of a tweak makes you lose a JB - the tweak is in the permanent penalty box for me. I don't care the conflicting tweak. All is well - add Atom and boot loop of he!! happens.. Sorry. Permanent penalty box for me.

JellyLock has clean record - so I stay with it.

I don't blame you or anyone. Bdp or atom but no one can confirm it so its not fair to make a blanket statement.

What if a dev designed a tweak to purposely do that if it detects it was pirated? I don't think that and I think that's wrong too but I'm just saying their Is a lot of variables. I still think it was bad copies. Furthermore I suspect it is more an issue with Cydia then any one tweak. Hanging, not completing, that sort of thing. Enuff of this topic though. .
