Thread: ConceptOS - A different kind of Theme (for iPhone 5)

Default ConceptOS - A different kind of Theme (for iPhone 5)
ConceptOS - A different kind of Theme

    - Compatible with iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 5

Wanna try something new and exciting?

    Available on Cydia

    Tweaks required:

    - Winterboard
    - Gridlock 2.0
    - Iconoclasm
    - PageJumps
    - PerPageHTML
    - Five Icon Dock
    - Lockscreen Clock Hide (only if you want to use the custom Lockscreen)

    What do you get?

Well, you can see it on the pictures . Different screens, unique first page, weather widget, calendar widget, themed UI, dialer and other apps, lockscreen with weather widget and more...

Important: the theme uses stock app icons, except those you see on the first page + the calendar icon. This is due to some limitations in Winterboard, which wouldn't allow me to use transparent icons and fit Twitter and Facebook icons into their places, without messing all the other icons up. Maybe I'll release a separate icons pack with auto icon mask and more custom icons in the future.

    * Compatible only with iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 5 (iPhone 4[S] support coming soon)

    How to get it?

    Available on Cydia

Very nice Concept indeed. Theme looks like it can utilize plenty of different HiDef photos to really make the 5's screen pop like should on almost every page. Like instead of placing apps in the right hand section of the "Social" page, we could put a vertical transparent "Social" on top of a HiDef image. Not sure if that makes sense to anyone else.

The theme is now available on Cydia. Everyone who donated can email me their Cydia account number and get a free copy.

I'm having trouble arranging my icons. If I select this theme's layout in Iconoclasm, all my icons are set on just the top row. All overlaying eachother. How do I fix this?

Did you follow the instructions in the Readme file?

I don't know exactly what is meant with " 2. Copy all the folders from the archive you downloaded to their corresponding location on the device\". But I think the problem lies with Iconoclasm. Is there perhaps known apps that clash with Iconoclasm?

  17. #16
Just ignore #2. It was for the time when the theme was only available via donations and people downloaded it themselves.

I got it to work now. There was a problem with Iconoclasm and some of the settings of Springtomize2.

Now I've been playing around with the theme for a while I was wondering if you're open for requests. Here's some things I'd like to request:

    1) I don't use Tweeter but I do use WhatsApp. I was wondering if you could make a WhatsApp icon that's the same as the current Tweeter app so I can put the WhatsApp icon in its place.

    2) I use the Gmail app for my mail. Is it possible to make an icon for Gmail the exact way as your current standard mail application icon so I can put my Gmail app instead of the default mail application?

    3) Whenever I click on one of the bottom 5 icons that are invisible, an ugly shade pops up. Is it possible to remove that?

4)I use the AppStore's application called 'Pocket Informant Pro' instead of the iPhone's default Calendar. Is it possible to make an icon for that similar to your current Calendar icon that I can place next to the Calander Widget?

5)I don't specifically use the Internet page. Is it possible to remove that page and simply put another 'Application' page instead?

I think I can do that, but it'll take some time.
As for #3, unfortunately no. It can be removed, but it messes all other icons up.

    Great job !

I use shrink to resize icon, and I noticed that the facebook and twitter icon have no transparent background, can you update it please.

  21. #20
That's the problem - they can't have transparent background. If I make it transparent, all the other icons mess up and become ugly squares and the part that is being cut by the round edges becomes visible.
