Can one of you helpful people point me in the right direction on how to add icon bundles.

The naming etc baffles me at this point.

For example I've got Nav Free and fancy making a new icon for it, just not sure how I'd go about adding it so it works.

    Thanks.

If Im not mistaken, you have to download Appinfo. There, you will see the bundle names of your apps. You will go to the bundles folder of the theme and you will create a folder with that name. Now, here is where Im not sure. Inside that folder you put two copies of the icon and call them: icon.png and [email protected]. If Im wrong on something, please correct me .

I've got ifunbox that allows me to view the bundles etc, I'm assuming I can use that program?

It's the folder names that I'm not sure on, surely I can't just pick a random name i.e. navfree and the icons will work.

I think when it comes to the icon names themselves, you're right one needs to be [email protected], but I believe the other needs to be icon@2x~iphone.png.

    Thanks for your reply mate.

Mine at the moment. Always in search of the "perfect" wallpaper. Not sure if this is it.

To get the name of the folder you need to have Appinfo from cydia. Once installed you can pick your app and the infoscreen gives the >bundle name<. Create this folder inside your theme/bundles and put your icons in. Now deselect and select your theme in winterboard and respring. This should do it.

Unfortunatly this doesn't work for all icons. But then it gets a little bit more complicated so I let it be to point this out here.

iFunBox is to transfer the files. You run that on your pc/mac. AppInfo gives you the names. You run that on your iDevice you are theming.

Let's take pinterest as an example. I have that on my iPhone. I have downloaded AppInfo from Cydia, and I open it. I go down to "p" for pinterest, and I click on it. It tells me that the bundle should be named "pinterest" and the icons are named "[email protected]", "Icon.png" "Icon-72.png", and "[email protected]". The first one is retina iphone (4,4S,5), the second one is regular phone (3GS), the third one is regular iPad (2nd, Mini) and the last is retina iPad (3,4).

So then I make my file, or pick an icon from the thread. I give it the correct name depending on my device. For my Iphone 5, I would name it "[email protected]". I put it in a folder called "pinterest". I then use iFunBox to copy that "pinterest" folder into /var/stash/themes.xxx/dune/bundles . Now usually I just respring to see my new icon, but sometimes you have to turn the theme off in winterboard, then back on.

And that's how you name and change icons.

    Thanks! Trying them now.

Tough choice! What do you guys think? I thought I'd stay with a light colored wall for my white iPhone, but the dark wall is kind of striking.
