--> How can I use layer styles in Photoshop?

Double click on the .asl file, it will automatically open Photoshop and install these styles.
Then go to Window and select "Styles" if it is not already checked (or "Layer Styles"), and you'll see a new window, with default Photoshop styles and the TurquesaSE ones.
To use them, just select a layer and click on the style you want to apply!
Easy huh?



--> What is the PSD file needed to make my own icon?

If you want to create a Cydia app icon, you have to use the Cydia_icon_BIG.psd (and resize it to 118x120px) or the [email protected] (already resized).
If you want to create ans Appstore app icon, then you have to use the Appstore_icon_BIG.psd (and resize it to 114x114px) or the [email protected] (already resized).
For both icons, the size is really important!

You can obtain all these informations with AppInfo available on Cydia for free.
Without this, I can't make your icons, remember

How many icons are there right now? And are AppStore icons auto created?

Are you planning more support? Widgets, lock screens etc?

Yes User Interface is fully themed on iPhone 5 (except Compass and VoiceMemos apps, coming in future updates).
I don't know exactly how much Icons are themed but quite much i think ^^ and yes there are auto-masks for Appstore icon.

I'm not planning new widgets for a near future (although i will post links today with alt Turquesa widgets here, and i will make new widgets this summer, when my studies are finished). ColorKeyboards will come in a few weeks normally.

Yo mate, yeah my bad didn't know the icons are a seperate package, got em now, although I have quite a lot of unthemed icons, are icons hard to make for this theme?

It's been like 2 years since I used photoshop, I guess I may have to re-learn how to do icons.

I have all those tweaks you mentioned already, just need the walls, Zepplin, sbsettings wich I will go get now.

No i don't think that turquesaSE icons are quite hard to theme, you can easily create simple but beautiful icons with psd files (just above) and with a little training

BTW It would be cool that someone here can help me to make icons for requests, cause it will be hard for me to make all of them (i have to study a lot too ^^).

Well if you could point me in the direction of any help making your icons I would be glad to try and spare some time to help with icon requests/walls etc.

I used to help out with other themes a few years ago, but real life took over and now I have forgotten most of my photoshop experience

You're gonna find your former Ps habits quickly, just some practices and here we go!

But as I said we can't make icons without informations I mentioned above, so you have some time to practice your photoshop
