Try to restart your phone and then refresh cydia before you try it next. The repos are most likely still having problems.

I have updated the front page and included a new icon file that you can download as well as new web widgets with a tutorial on how to install them to your theme.

If you could past the code you have in your plist. It should have first looked like this,

<string>launch com.apple.MobileSMS</string>

and changed to this


<string>launch com.bitesms</string>


Save and respring and it should work.

Thanks Joey, I found the problem that using ifunbox on the pc to change the plists sometimes didn't save the changes. I have now managed to edit the lists properly and also change the messaging icon to bitesms Now I think I can go on and mod the theme to suit the apps I use most.

How is it best to backup any changes? Can I just copy the gyro folder and copy it back later if I had some problems to get it back to when it worked best?

Yes, if you ever choose to edit the plist then make sure you back up your working one first.

i had modified my icons on gyro 2 for slightly different animations. I tried changing them over on the new version and they just dont seem to be working. other than the LAW folder am I missing a change somewhere else or just not thinking clearly from being tired.

The plist for Gyro HD 3 is completely different from Gyro HD 2. It has been recoded from the ground up so nothing is going to be like it was for the past versions of the theme. What exactly are you trying to do and i can try to help you out?

The only changes i had made on two were to the weather, just little things like the sun out on sunny days moon at night. The weather widget itself appears the same but it isnt refreshing after a zipcode change without some time and a weather off and back on switch.

If you are changing your zip code frequently the i would suggest a respring after each one.

Search for this

One question though. Has anybody else noticed that the battery is draining a lot faster with this theme? Or is it just me...

During last night the battery precentage went from 900% to 65% while the phone was sleeping. I've disabled the location service.
Any ideas what could be causing this...?

no battery drain here that's abnormal, unless I'm running Auxo
