I haven't heard of Winterboard creating battery problems in some time now. The theme will still be expanded, a ColorKeyboard theme will be added soon, as well as support for other popular tweaks. The notification center does have a theme (material), I decided to treat it as a 'pull down' over the actual phone theme. This is because of several reasons - primarily that the weather and stock widgets would not fit in well with the black and white pixelated style; it would look like a mess.

I would love helping, I am software engineer for ios by profession, with design background.
Where could I be useful? (perhaps emoticons?)

Q1: fswipecache will do the same thing as going into iFile and manually deleting those files, correct?
Also, is there an auto-mask that could be added? it's kinda jarring to have old-school right alongside the new, modern icons.

I've actually been looking to put together a tweak to help with theme setup if you are interested in helping out in that area (and have the skills to do so). Basically what I had in mind is a settings menu that has options to do things like clearing the cache, respring and changing files like DateFormats.plist. Let me know if you can help out.
I haven't looked at fswipecache. I know that the app iWipeCache does not do the job, and I can't guarantee that fswipecache will delete the appropriate files either.
There are app masks which add borders to unthemed icons, which is about as much as we can do with Winterboard. However, Springtomize has an option to make icons black and white. You can also request some icons in this forum.Last edited by Cody-lg; 07-21-2012 at 05:47 PM.

Perhaps we could do this in settings
'Convert Icons to 2bit' button, if everything else works, I am very skilled in graphics processing, it would not be perfect, but possible ok?!

Just installed this a little while ago and spent some time setting it up.
I am loving it!
A few of my apps won't skin, even though I see them in the files. Twitter and eBay to be exact.
Is there anything I need to do with them?
Running the latest iOS
*edit* Oh - I added in the eBay one from dropbox. Maybe I did something wrong? I've never manually added icons before.Last edited by micahbell; 07-23-2012 at 06:20 PM.

Cache had been cleared.
Twitter isn't working, and I copied the ebay one and resprang like you said, but it still isn't going.
Facebook didn't work to start with either, but I can't remember what I did now (I've been messing about for some time)
Whoops. I feel dumb... For some reason I had the main theme turned on but not the Icon Bundle.
Turning that on fixed a bunch of them, but I still can't get ebay going.Last edited by micahbell; 07-23-2012 at 07:53 PM.
