I know "4097" is the WOEID but I've also used this one in the past: "caxx0025". What is it and what's the difference between the two? Thanks in advance.
    I believe the "4097" is used by Yahoo only, and the "caxx0025" is for AOL, weather channel, etc (all others). I may be wrong on that though.

    Max's original post can be found here:
    UniAW6.0 for iph4 & iph5

    All settings are done within the config.js file and the animations can be turned off completely if you like. For more details on the new animations please see this post:

    P.S. I did this all on my PC as I don't have an i5. Everything worked perfectly but if you find something is not right on your phone, please let me know right away and I will try to fix ASAP.

    Hmm works fine for me. It was acting funky until I disabled the "neighbourhood" localization though.

    I think neighbourhood is turned on by default instead of city - not sure if that helps. Could it be identifying your "neighbourhood" as ridgewood?

    I disabled neighborhood and no results. Still ridgewood as city which it is not where I live.

    What happens if you disable GPS and enter your city code in var locale in config.js?

    It does work, but even if I set gps to true, it is reading the yahoo code.

    It ignores the yahoo code if GPS is set to true.

    No, but using code 59426 it is.

    I even tried to copy the config from previous mod UniAW6_LS_MaxModv2 extras.theme but nothing. So frustrated.

    I know what the problem is guys. My mistake - I'm so sorry. Open up the location.js file....

    Remove the "//" in front of this line:
    //jQuery.get('file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/myLocation.txt', function(appdata) {

    ..and put "//" at the beginning of this line:
    jQuery.get('myLocation.txt', function(appdata) {

    I should have changed it back after testing before uploading but must have forgot. Again, so sorry. All should work fine after that!

    EDIT: download link(s) changed to version with fixed location.js file - apologies.

    Does your location show correctly in the MaxModv2?

    I can answer that one 4097 is yahoo's woeid which is the RSS 2.0 feed. CAXX0025 is the RSS 1.0 feed. Woeid gives a more acurate location. But if your using CAXX0025 you could be in Midhurst and it could still say Barrie.It gives a larger location area. Oh and "Hi" from Brockville 401 east.

    Hi all,

    So I think I'm finished the update, I have only done the PerPage version till now so need to make all the other versions now.

    You guys are gonna love this update, absolutely everything can be accomplished in the Config file only, no more playing with opacity levels in the css files, you can remove EVERYTHING (for animations only) or as in the screenshot below I removed the forecastbg, analog clock, weatherInfobg, then activated the digital clock and the single line date option.

    Yes I'm back home now.
