    Thanks. I have that one already and love it. I might of asked this before but don't remember. Is there a way incorporate an altimeter?

    Hmm, my initial thought is that this would need a tweak, but I'm wondering if that info is available from the GPS chip.

    I like the thought of this, I'm going do some poking around.

    I'm sure it's available from gps Brian, as far as I'm aware, from gps you can get: (from the coords property inside the position object)

    Latitude
    Longitude
    Accuracy
    Altitude
    Altitude Accuracy

    Heading
    Speed
    Timestamp

    Don't know how well it would work or how accurate it would be though, even dedicated gps units have issues with this, my Gramin GPS for fishing tells me I'm 10 meters when I'm sitting on the water LOL..

    @ KOH,

    I was always meaning to ask if you could implement "Accuracy" into WW, e.g.:

    Code:
    var element = document.getElementById("geolocation");
        element.innerHTML = '<br/>Latitude: ' + position.coords.latitude + "<br/>" +
        'Longitude: ' + position.coords.longitude + "<br/>" +
        'Accuracy: ' + position.coords.accuracy + "<br/>";

    This would return something like this:

    Latitude: 53.0474537
    Longitude: -1.8463528
    Accuracy: 48

    Then we can display the accuracy value on screen.

    Yes, I am very interested in acquiring all that info!

    Does that accuracy number correspond to something. I'm just curious as to what it relates to?

    Just how accurate the gps position is in meters, like when you look at your maps app, there is a circle around the position dot, the circle indicates the accuracy of the position

    It's also good to note that some of the above info's work much better using the "geolocation.watch.position" method rather than "geolocation.getCurrentPosition".

    "watchPosition" defaults to 10000ms refresh but can be set by you if you want it different (you should use "maximumAge" rather than "frequency" as "frequency" will be removed in the future).
    You can stop the "watchPosition" with "geolocation.clearWatch"
    You can use "enableHighAccuracy" with it.
    "watchPosition" is much faster and a lot more accurate.

    I am aware it might not need the code referring to changing javascript files but I left it in anyway just incase.

    All credit goes to Dacal for this brilliant idea. Thanks pal.
    Ian, wanna add this to post 1? Had a heck of a time finding it.

    Not out yet bud, it's slowly coming together though.

    Still have to do the iph4 css files (normal & gold), then do the options.plist for iWidget, then write some instructions on converting it from SB to LS to iW.

    Need to figure out some stuff for the option to fetch weather data from local weather plist.

    Can pls someone from the US check the "DataIsCelsius" value in the localweather of
    \var\mobile\Library\Preferences\com.apple.weather. plist

    This is in the 2nd not first level

    The first level will change with my user input in the standard weather app.

    Thank you for your input

    But this was not my question. I also set my unit to degree F, but it only changes in the upper level of my plist. Not in the second level "LocalWeather". See plist screenshots.
