    Widget-Weather App Now Available! Also with MyLocation Support!
    Check out the thread here - Widget-Weather
    To install the Widget-Weather app, just go to Cydia and install. This will also remove MyLocation, as it is built in!
    Want to protect your JailBreak! Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/iLEXiNFO/ & Install "iLEX R.A.T."
    It will allow you to bring your phone back to a fresh jailbroken state!

    Code:
    obj.icon = $(data).find('condition').attr('code');
    obj.description = $(data).find('condition').attr('text');
    And add these lines right after those two..

    Code:

    Cheers mate i like the sound of this. I've tried to do it on the sbhtml I'm using but not sure if it just can't be done with this one or if i just haven't done it correctly. I'm not very good with js. I've included the main js files and if you or anybody else wouldn't mind taking a look and let me know where i've gone wrong it would be much appreciated.

    Hunta,
    You must have tried typing it in manually rather than cutting and pasting directly from my post. You had it placed in the correct location in the UniAW.js file. But you left out several characters necessary to make the syntax work. Every '(' and '{', and single quote mark and capital or small letter, etc.. is important and needed.. Just go back and copy and paste what's below EXACTLY into the same location after the obj.description line. And make sure that the first 'if' (below) is on a new line - not at the end of the 'obj,description code line. I know in iFile - things get crowded but a spacebar return still works the same in iFile as it does in any text document.

    This is what you must add - exactly -- every character and on 4 different lines consecutively.

    if (obj.description == 'Fair') {
    if (obj.icon == 33) {obj.description = 'Mostly Clear';}
    else if (obj.icon == 34) {obj.description = 'Mostly Sunny';}
    }

    Let me know when you have it working,

    Take a screenshot (from within iFile) of the area in the file you changed. Let me see if all the syntax is correct.

    Well it can work in any myLocation widget that calls on Yahoo's free API.. (Won't work on a WidgetWeather widget). There's something unique about this widget. Can you zip up the whole widget and email the link to me. I need the whole widget to troubleshoot further. Thanks for trying as much as you did on your own.

    Aha! There are two different js scripts used in this widget.. Add my code lines under the same 2 lines in the "theme.js" rather than the UniAW.js and you should be set. Let me know..

    Happy full moon Friday 13th,
    Isn't the mini the same resolution as the phone?

    Thanks for responding Simon and MJ! You are always quick to help! I've done some searching but not finding ANY mods of UniAW that will run on the LS of a mini. After using it on my phone for so long everything else is somewhat disappointing!

    Ya, no version of uniaw has ever been upsized for iPad yet. Parts of it like timed walls and slideshows have but not the animated weather.

    I took a stab at it, but WAY too much going on for me to sort it out! Containers gone wild! I'll wait patiently and then happily donate to those who are talented enough to do it and share. Thanks again!

    It's mostly an image thing I believe, Ian never wanted to just scale all the weather images up thereby losing quality. Everything else is just adjusting the figures to animate over the larger screen. Closest thing would be the mod Bacardi did for Macbooks I suppose, don't think he ever tried doing it for iPad though.

    BUT. Bacardi did use Ian's cloud brush tools for Photoshop to make the animations look natural on the MacBook size. Those same animation images then downsized to the Mac mini would look very natural and not strangely stretched. It would be quite a little project but very doable without losing quality.
