    Marcus,
This is so cool! I was wondering if there was a way to tip the Google Street view camera up into the sky little bit so when Ian's animations go by it looks more natural. I remembered on the Street view at Google maps.com you were able to tip the view higher into the sky and lower toward the ground. Didn't know if there was a way to implement that camera angle in the image pulled from their servers to a widget. But it looks like you have. Unless this particular picture from the Google truck simply has more sky in it. A very very nice upgrade, my friend. Your usual awesome work!

Quite easy to add a pitch variable. Give me a bit and I will upload a V5 that has that implemented into the options menu

    My Friends,

Thanks to Grant for the suggestion, I added a Pitch variable which will let you change the up/down angle of StreetView image

Went ahead and did both my variants of the StreetView iWidgets

Here is the new option in the UniaW StreetView iWidget Options Menu:

And here is a comparison of the results, the top had a pitch of 20 and the bottom a pitch of 6

Download UniaW6.4 WW StreetView iWidget Here: Drifters UniAW StreetView iWidgetV6

    ------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the Plain StreetView iWidget new options menu:

    Different widget sizes shown:

Download StreetView iWidget here: Drifters StreetView iWidgetV2

    Enjoy

Also VERY cool, Drift-man.. Hey - call me crazy.. But we're on a roll.. What about this.. Can you have two touch areas of the UniAW Street View widget.. On that would control the refresh. And one that would be like the Daisy in UniAW Lockscreen where we could update pitch and heading? I can see people using this widget wanting to be able to upon arrival at a location wanting simply to update at least heading to see the familiar house frontage or whatever. But they wouldn't want to remove and readd a new iwidget just to change the heading option. What if there's a little clik settings button in upper left that brings up a window of options just for heading and pitch.. After entering - the remaining touch area of the iWidget would refresh it.

    Just an idea..

LOL, I've done my part. But I really don't plan on developing these widgets any further myself.

There's many routes one could go with this, gyro control of the pitch and headings, some sort of touch control, a pop up menu that can add or subtract the heading or pitch variables, a constant update mode, etc... Possibilities are endless.

Hopefully other modders can utilize my modded examples to produce more useful StreetView widgets

You can't have the keyboard from an iwidget. You can't have 2 touch areas either.

Drifter or anyone who can help
Really digging plain around with all the street view stuff have them on 2 different pages and it appears that they are not affecting the battery at all. On mine it shows a house about 1/2 mile away.Is there any way to show my house? I have widget weather with my location on and neighborhood location on

Perhaps adjusting the "GPS Distance Filter" and "GPS Desired Accuracy" values in the WidgetWeather settings might help.

I agree about the lack of keyboard use thru a running iWidget but I think you can define separate areas within the widget.plist defined height and width parameters and have each area call a different function. Chevy did this in his Ultimate version widgets already

Its a beautiful thing! I have never adjusted the actual GPS settings in WW. They are right on now.

Yeah, I knew that. I should've been more specific. I would just be asking for six buttons in that screen that came up; 360, 90, 180 & 270° on heading and for 8 and 15 on pitch. Just buttons like in the UniAW LS daisy.

As to two touch areas… Chevy has an iwidget, I believe, that has four touch areas.

Guys, got a question for ya:

Did something change in the touch functions between IOS6.1.2 & IOS7? Works fine on i5 running IOS7.0.6 but not on i4 running 6.1.2.

    Thanks.
