My point was if u don't know for certain don't give false info.

And I read all the posts of dreamweaver and such.

I don't own a Mac and have done HTML coding many years. I'd do mods and such but iOS reads logic different than pc driven php and HTML.

And yes live preview. Via internal or browser.

In my 2.5 years here - no one's ever mentioned one - and you're not the only pro web designer on the forum, Volt. This is the first I've heard of it and the question's been asked a lot over the years. And I'm glad you found one!!
And yes live preview. Via internal or browser.
No refresh button you have to hit? Every character you type in your code - instantly refreshes the preview window? If you have to hit any refresh key or browser refresh button - then it's not a true LivePreview. That was my only point to the original poster who was asking for a true Live Preview.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

Does it really matter? Press a button, don't press a button, who cares lol? On Mac I use BBedit which has a live preview, on PC I use notepad++ which I use chrome to preview with the refresh button. Both work great

Yeah... Call me crazy.. But when you're programming hours a day.. NO one would want to hit a refresh button when you're writing syntax where every character makes a change. I would literally be hitting the refresh button hundreds of times a day. If there's a tool that exists with a true live preview -- I think anyone would want it.. Call me crazy..

And I was sure not alone for wanting a constant mode in WW..

Hi all, I'm back in Hong Kong again to see eye doctor, I'm not going to go into all details but lets just say all is not well with the situation.

    @ Grant,

I believe "Taco HTML Edit" is the odd one out here M8, the term "Live Preview" has been used for many years and normally involves hitting a refresh key, it's been this way for years, even with the "big boys (more advanced HTML/CSS/JS editors).
"Taco HTML Edit" just removed this step and it's a pretty good thing usually, but, quite often I find myself switching off the preview window if I'm making lots of little changes as I don't want the live preview updating every second, that said, given the choice, I would pick "Taco's" way of doing it every time as you immediately see any error you may have made.
It's a pity they don't port the program for Windows users because for the work we do it's perfect (very light weight & inexpensive (US$24.99)).

If you are still using version 2.x.x then I advise you to stick with it, in version 3 it adds autosave (which cannot be turned off), too many times I make a change that may not work out & I forget to undo all the changes on each file before closing the app, in version 2 the changes would not be saved till you hit "save" but in version 3 it's automatic so in this case, when I re-open the widget, I have to remember all the changes I did to undo it, hopefully in future updates they will give you the option to turn autosave on & off.. just a heads up.

Interior designers can visualize how a room will look like, landscape gardners can see what the garden can look like, painters can see the painting before the first brush stroke is done. None of them need a refresh button.
Programming coders, especially html coders, can see what will change without a refresh after every keystroke.
If you can not do that - see in your head what certain changes will do - sorry, but you have no talent for the job.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying you are a bad coder, but what I am saying is that you are not anywhere as efficient and currently stuck at amateur level. Get and develop that ability to progress.

btw I am using Dreamweaver CS6, but hardly at all use the live preview. I don't need to as I roughly know what it looks like, however more important is what it will look like on the iDevice, as that can be different to what your live preview shows you.

So just saw the doc again, left eye is all good.
Right eye - the lens fitted during cataract surgery has moved a little, but it's moving in the wrong direction making vision worse at distance instead of getting better. Doc says it's best to wait 3 months to be sure all movement is complete, then he will give me the basic LASIK surgery and Yag surgery (makes a hole in the back of the capsule to clear away the cloudines so that light may pass freely to the back of the eye.) at the same time, if after all this my right eye is still off he will change the lens fitted in the cataract surgery, I don't pay for Lag surgery or changing the lens if required.

So for the next 3 months I have to wear glasses, I guess I can live with this, at least I know whats going on now.

    Hi noobdude, welcome to MMI

99.9% of us here would probably consider ourselves "amateur coders", me included, maybe a few at mediocre level, so although your statement may well be true it's probably a bit harsh for these boards.
Most "modders" here more or less just play with different images & changing the position of things in the css, for this sort of thing & for learning purposes, a "live preview" is a godsend.

Thanks pal, but it's not a "tunnel" till its finished, until breakthrough it's really no more that a long hole in the ground, so with that, every tunnel has light at the end, unless it's still a hole, then it just has light at the start, but, we could be starting the tunnel from the end so.... LOL. Sorry, I'm in a philosophy kinda mood tonight.

Stopping by to say hi and post a screenie of my amateur LS mod

Btw it's nice to be confident in yourself but it's not cool to think your above everyone else especially around here everyone is trying to learn from one another the way it should be and talking down on others just ain't good for the thread.Im no expert at any of this by any stretch which is why I made my title Master code "Modder" not Master Coder cuz although I can modify almost any widget to look exactly how I want it to I can only write the basics nothing like what Dacal and Ian and a few others do with the base js's etc the foundation of the uniAW as they have given is to play with and do what we choose so thank you guys so much I know for me my setup wouldn't be the same without uniAW in my life

So GREAT to see you Max! I gotta tell you that when I joined MMI just about a year ago, your designs were my inspiration man!! Your work is truly amazing and I can't thank you enough for all you've shared with the community. I don't think I would be where I am today, modding, without your presence on MMI.

That current LS is amazing like all your other work. Having said that, I gotta ask, you wouldn't still happen to have this bad boy floating around would you:
    UniAW6.0 for iph4 & iph5

Thanks again for all you do and I hope life is treating you well!
