    Hello everybody from Sri Lanka. Nobody appeared at the airport to pick me up, so after I waited 1 hour I booked myself into a nice posh 5 star hotel by the beach for the night at the companies expense.

    I read that statement from Sauric too, how many years was it like this? I simply cannot believe he wasn't aware that LockBackground.html's run in the background, he never had a LS on his own phone all this time?

    His argument at present, is how much it drain's the battery with the LS running constantly in the background, fair point, but we got by just fine for years! Would be great to have "the bug" back and then maybe Sauric can work on a WinterBoard switch/option (bugged or bugless ) if people don't want the LS running in the background.

    You're close but wrong file.
    If you're always going to be in Florida then just do something like this:

    In the .js files (AccuWeather & Yahoo) in the dealWithWeather function (about half way down) look for this line:

    Code:
    document.getElementById("city").innerHTML = obj.city;
    Change it to something like this:

    Code:
    document.getElementById("city").innerHTML = obj.city + "," + " FL";
    Or maybe just + ", FL"; Try it and see, I don't test it.

In thinking that it may be a while before things get sorted.
    Zactly. (it's my short hand for "exactly"), now who is it that has the signature "If it ain't broke, I'll fix it till it is"? It kinda fits this situation zactly.

    Hi guys. Firstly can I just say a huge thank you to everyone involved with this project and thread. I have learnt more about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from reading this thread and your code than anywhere else and can I say the atmosphere of this thread is second to none.

    I just have a quick question. Is there an easy way I can return an icon for the current weather condition? I'm working on a simple LS based on UniAW WW version. I need to have pass code enabled during the week and so want to run without animations at that time. Whilst I've been able to get the AnimationsOn coding to work I'd like to have an icon displaying the current condition when I turn animations off. I can find the forecast icons easy enough but there doesn't seem to be one for the current condition.

    Thanks & welcome aboard.

    I guess you saw the tutorial (linked in post 1) on how to add a "No Animation Switch"?

    For the icon:

    1st add this in the Config.js file:

    Code:
    var ShowCurrentWeatherIcon = false; // true or false to show or hide the icon for the current weather condition.

    2nd. In the UniAW6_accuweather.js file add the lines in red in the correct place:
    Code:
                    whereOld = where;
                    filename = Conditions[obj.icon];
                }
            }

            document.getElementById("fullScreenWeatherWalls").src = "Images/fullScreenWeatherWalls/" + where + "_" + Conditions[obj.icon] + ".jpg";
            document.getElementById("DayNightWalls").src = "Images/day_night_" + iPhoneType + "/" + where + ".png";

    if (ShowCurrentWeatherIcon == true) {
    document.getElementById("Day0Icon").src = "Icon Sets/"+iconSet+"/"+convertAccuIcon(obj.icon)+".png";
    }
            if (useRealFeelForForecast == true) {
                if (Reverse_Hi_Lo == true) {
                    document.getElementById("Day1").innerHTML = ForecastDayNames(obj.forecastday[1]).substring(0, 3);
                    document.getElementById("Day1Icon").src = "Icon Sets/" + iconSet + "/" + obj.forecastcode[1] + ".png";
                    document.getElementById("Day1HiLo").innerHTML = obj.forecastrealhigh[1] + "/ " + obj.forecastreallow[1] + "";

    3rd. In the UniAW6_yahoo.js file add the lines in red in the correct place:
    Code:
            document.getElementById("pressure").innerHTML = pressuretext + obj.pressure + " " + obj.pressureunit;
            document.getElementById("lastupdate").innerHTML = lastupdatetext + '</span><span style="font-size: 11px;">' + currentTimeString + ' ' + timeOfDay + '</span>';
            document.getElementById("visibility").innerHTML = visibilitytext + obj.visibility + " " + obj.visibilityunit;
            document.getElementById("humidity").innerHTML = '<span>' + humiditytext + '</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">' + obj.humidity + "%" + '</span>';
            document.getElementById("sunrisetext2").innerHTML = sunrisetext;
            document.getElementById("sunsettext2").innerHTML = sunsettext;
            document.getElementById("desc").innerHTML = obj.description;

    if (ShowCurrentWeatherIcon == true) {
    document.getElementById("Day0Icon").src = "Icon Sets/"+iconSet+"/"+AdjustIcon(obj.icon)+".png";
    }

    		if (obj.rising == 0) document.getElementById('rising').innerHTML= "&larr;&rarr;";
            if (obj.rising == 1) document.getElementById('rising').innerHTML= "&uarr;";
            if (obj.rising == 2) document.getElementById('rising').innerHTML= "&darr;";

    		switch (lang) {

    4th. In the css files (iph4 & iph5) add this: (for adjusting the icon's size and position use the settings in #Day0Icon, not the #Day0Container.)
    Code:
    #Day0Container {
    	position:absolute;
    	top: 0px;
    	left: 0px;
    	height: 568px;
    	width: 320px;
    }

    #Day0Icon{
    	position: relative;
    	top: 300px;
    	left: 96px;
    	height: 128px;
    	width: 128px;
    }

    5th. In the html file add this:
    Code:
    	<div id="Day0Container">
    		<table border="0" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="0" align="left">
    			<tr valign="middle"><td><img id="Day0Icon" src="Icon Sets/blank.png"/></td><td id="Day0desc"></td></tr>
    		</table>
    	</div>

    I think that's all.

    If in doubt, there is a version in post 1 that already has this, you could download it for inspection.

    BTY, the following function should be present in the UniAW6_yahoo.js file, if it's missing then add it near the end (it's not needed in the UniAW6_accuweather.js file).
    I have it directly before "window.onload = init;" like this:
    Code:
    		document.getElementById("arcsun").style.webkitTransform = "rotate(" + pRotate + "deg)";
    		document.getElementById("arcsunray").style.webkitTransform = "rotate(" + pRotate + "deg)";
    		document.getElementById("arcsunrings").style.left = pTranslate - 300 + "px";
            } else {
    		document.getElementById("moon").style.webkitTransform = "translateX(" + pTranslate + "px)";
    		document.getElementById("moonray").style.webkitTransform = "translateX(" + pTranslate + "px)";
    		document.getElementById("sun").style.webkitTransform = "translateX(" + pTranslate + "px)";
    		document.getElementById("sunray").style.webkitTransform = "translateX(" + pTranslate + "px)";
    		document.getElementById("sunrings").style.left = pTranslate - 300 + "px";
    	}
    }

    function AdjustIcon(icon, whereTmp) {
    	switch(whereTmp) {
    		case "day":
    			if (icon == 27) { icon = 28; }
    			if (icon == 29) { icon = 30; }
    			if (icon == 31) { icon = 32; }
    			if (icon == 33) { icon = 34; }
    		break;
    		case "night":
    			if (icon == 28) { icon = 27; }
    			if (icon == 30) { icon = 29; }
    			if (icon == 32) { icon = 31; }
    			if (icon == 34) { icon = 33; }
    		break;
    	}
    	return icon;
    }

    window.onload = init;

    Just wondering is there a known issue or bug with the Facebook app? Whenever I open it keeps just crashing and closing when I try to search a Friends name or goto view my messages the screen goes blank and kicks me to SB, I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app, same thing.. Anyone else experience this?

    I would try to help but I don't have a 5S, I also have no issue's with my iWidget. What do you mean "Refresh on"? You mean just have a update interval set in the config file or do you have a refresh button?

    tcm's way would be the best, at least it would change should you ever leave your state. Haven't tested it but I'm sure he did.

    Just a question, if anyone could help please.

    On the uniaw6.4 i am trying to move the description. I have changed alignment to the left (which it goes to the left) however no matter what value i put in the left: it wont move left? i have even put in a figure of 200px and still doesnt move? is there somewhere else i can do this?

    I just downloaded this. I loved the weather as part of the Shine theme. Lost that theme with the iOS 7 update so I was thrilled to find this! Can someone explain the little empty box next to "fair"? I'm not sure what I did. ImageUploadedByModMyi1392591679.622419.jpg

    I didn't change a thing, and now I just get this. ImageUploadedByModMyi1392592597.938055.jpg
