    Hmm. I got my info from MJ too. Clearly:
    1) I misunderstood the limits of Cydgets
    2) I currently have a UniAW mod that must have the touch elements on the Background Layer. Since I can't click on Restart or Timed Walls.

    So, MJ, it's only 0px to 130px on the "Backgroud Layer" that can't have touch?

    Damn, Ian.. They could make a very compelling movie about your life!!! I'd pay it watch that!! Now WHO would play Ian?!!

    Hi M,

    If I set the uniaw on the background layer, no touch functions work at all, I can only get them working on Homepage.

    Cydgets may well be done by "the master" himself but for me it's very far from perfect, sooner or later someone will make a proper LStweak that works the way we want it and when this happens Cydgets will once again be left in the shadows... Why?

    For me it lacks a friendly face & clear instructions, just look at the link you provided MJ, not the happiest place on the boards, we all want to try & give Cydgets a proper chance but notice how nobody is participating in that thread? Simon asked some "real" questions but the replays are almost like "it's my way or the highway" and Sauric assumes we are all on his level of coding, I get the feeling he is not willing to talk to anybody who isn't. It's a very uncomfortable thread where people are afraid to ask anything in fear of being made to look like an idiot!

    Until the touch function on the background layer (& a few other niggles) is sorted then I'm riding the highway for now, re-coding a huge widget like the UniAW to have all touch functions on one html file linked to the animations/wallpapers on another html file is just ridiculous.

    Thanks to Marty & ferlop:

    If you want the Single_Line_Date to have the correct "suffix" after the date, I mean like this:

    Saturday, February 15th. 2014 instead of Saturday, February 15. 2014

    In the two javascript files (accuweather & Yahoo) change the code that starts with "if (Single_Line_Date == true)" to this:

    Code:
        if (Single_Line_Date == true) { document.getElementById("SingleLineDate").innerHTML = days[currentTime.getDay()] + ", " + months[currentTime.getMonth()] + " " + currentDate + SingleLineDateSuffix + ". " + currentTime.getFullYear();
        }

    Then add the code below in red in the correct place:

    Code:
        if (DigitalClock == true) {
            document.getElementById("clock").innerHTML = currentTimeString;
            document.getElementById("ampm").innerHTML = timeOfDay;
        if (SecDisplay == true) {
                document.getElementById("second").innerHTML = currentSeconds;
            }
        }

        var SingleLineDateSuffix = "";
            switch (currentDate) {
                case 1:
                case 21:
                case 31:
                SingleLineDateSuffix = "st";
            break;
                case 2:
                case 22:
                SingleLineDateSuffix = "nd";
            break;
                case 3:
                case 23:
                SingleLineDateSuffix = "rd";
            break;
            default: SingleLineDateSuffix = "th";
            }

        document.getElementById("day").innerHTML = days[currentTime.getDay()] + "";
        document.getElementById("month").innerHTML = months[currentTime.getMonth()];
        document.getElementById("year").innerHTML = currentTime.getFullYear();
        document.getElementById("date").innerHTML = currentDate;

    Hey gang, I discovered why we were having different experiences with touch function in Cydgets. We've been doing testing over in June's LockBuilder thread and those with LockHTML 3 installed, and even OFF, somehow have access to the touch layer between 0 pixels and 130 pixels on the home screen layer in Cydgets. If you uninstall LH3 then you will not be able to touch those buttons even on the home screen layer in Cydgets.. Very weird.
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    GPS might fix that though.

    Im glad you said this first , Ian. I even joined Reddit to catch up with all things Saurik/WB/Cydgets as he posts there.. But it sure seems Jay has a chip on his shoulder.. I too felt I would be berated if I posted. Unfortunate.

    Working on it, bro.. Junes code is SO different than Ian/Dacal code.. Oy. But I think you're joking there. Adding GPS to LockBuilder won't change the funny interaction between LH3 & the Cydgets touch layer... Right?

    Yeah.. Be gentle with me, guys. Remember I'm that guy that doesn't get sarcasm. I'm kind of like sarcasm-disabled like Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory. All my life I've always been the last to get jokes.

    Also IMO Saurik didn't berate anyone. He had already stated what was being asked for was a major bug in wb that he wasn't aware of. I imagine he would add ideas if they are not going to be a detriment to the tweak. Adding the "Major bug" would be just that.

    Gunny is right, I'm just messing about. My method to always cut tension is to make light of said tension. People take themselves too seriously sometimes. It's a phone, let's have some fun guys. All work should be celebrated and respected.

    I also agree with Ian about Saurik. I'm sure he means well but it is uncomfortable. No one wants to be condescended to, especially when you are just trying to get a better understanding. That's why I leave some threads. It's so restrictive, either stay on point or leave is the feeling I get at some places. And there is a tone of condescension that is just unpleasant. It's a shame really because u can feel it in some of the posts. If people are afraid to bring their opinions or preferences, than you are doing something wrong.

    I think that Saurik fails to realize that we aren't all on his level of coding. Also, we liked the "bug" and that's how we want it to run. But that's not what he wants to do. For simple lock screens and sb widgets, winter board worked EXACTLY as it was written. I don't want to have to relearn how to do sht... I just wanna do what I've been doing. I don't know. In thinking that it may be a while before things get sorted.

    Any "guesses" as to whether he'll ever return HTML to WB?

    Very well said. It's time for Saurik to come 'to his people' and meet them where they're at. When a dev with the influence level over all of our lives, like Saurik has, digs in his heels and tries to strong arm thousands and thousands of people into a direction - it's frustrating and wrong especially when he makes a substantive portion of his living from Cydia. He's been an enigmatic personality since the day I read his first post on MMi and what I read on Reddit.

    Now having said that -- in his defense -- it would appear iOS7 sent him a curve ball which makes it IMPOSSIBLE for WB to run "like it did" on iOS6 - bugs "that we like" and all.. So I think we just need to kiss the iOS6 functionality goodbye forever. If THAT's what he's trying to communicate with his tech talk -- then we have to accept that and move on to different ways of doing things.

    Looks like the dandelions container is too high. Just need to find that container and make the top value a higher number. Another 100px or so. I'm not sure which is the container off the top of my head for that but would most likely be the wind container I would think.

    Hello to everybody .
    I read this thread from page 690 and still do now have the solution for my problem )

    So I have iPhone 5s + iwidgets 1.1.1 + Uniaw6.4

    The problem is that 1-2 times a day I have safe modes , most of them when phone is locked and it seems to happen when uniaw trying to refresh the forecast ...
    Probably some body knows how to stop this kind of behavior ?
    I also read a lot of complains on iwidgets , people also having issues with safe modes ...
    So what is my problem related , iwidgets is still too buggy for 64 bit or there are some problems with Uniaw6.4???
    And did somebody runs iwidgets + Uniaw6.4 + iPhone 5s + weather refresh with no issues ???

    Thanks to everybody )))
