For me, GroovyCarrot has the right idea, posting his beta tweak for all to test.

Private chats in “Ever-whatever it is” where only the select few are invited is in my opinion, an insult to all others, sorry, count me out, I want no part of it all. I would prefer we were all working together to get things working again.
I totally agree. Excluding you and a few other people, everyone else seems hellbent on profiting off the current state of confusion instead of figuring out how to fix the problems. The little work-arounds and minor tweaks are cool I guess, but I don't see myself spending money on a tweak that days later becomes obsolete because a better, freely shared tweak comes out. Having spent hundreds of dollars by paying or donating, I'm currently keeping my iPhone barren until it's all figured out. When it is, I'll gladly open my wallet and continue supporting the innovations and artistic themes you guys create. Wish you'd change your mind but I can understand the frustration you must feel. Perhaps it'll be a wake up call to how some people around here conduct themselves.

Choose the 01-WidgetWeatherBase Theme if it's in your GroovyLock folder at var/mobile/Library/GroovyLock. You may need to move it from var/stash/Themes/... It has no animations and it should keep GroovyLock from crashing and let you have 'something' on your LockScreen. The more animations in a LockScreen theme the more GroovyLock is having current trouble keeping up. The crash you're experiencing is it failing to keep up. Jake's working on it.. but the engine that controls animation plays back, WebViewUI, in iOS7 is buggy in 7.0.4 from what I'm reading and may only be fixable in 7.1.. In which case - it would mean it will be some time until we all have animated weather LockScreens again without crashing. But GroovyCarrot is a talented Dev. If there's a way - he'll find one.. .
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

Agree 100%. The "have and have-nots" ideal that seems to be the it thing in this scene is really out of hand.

I haven't been a member here for that long. Though in that time I saw Ian as one the most generous people on Modmyi. Now for him to leave his own thread is a little screwed up. People need to chill and take it down notch and conduct yourselves in such a way as to not upset others. This isn't a Ford vs Chevy type of site it's everyone with the same phones looking for solutions to the same problems.

Time for me to leave and let you guys alone, I would have loved to have been involved but refuse to be in the manner it’s being done.

    Bye.
Don't leave your own thread, stand and fight for it back. I have followed this thread for a very long time. I do agree with most of your points, but I don't think you should leave. There are moderators here that can take care of this. I have always admired your attention to detail with UniAW was honored when you let me use your code. You have loyal fans here that want nothing but UniAW. Don't forget about them in this mess of confusion.

As to everyone in this thread, If you have any respect for Ian you will stop answering questions regarding other tweaks.. This is what has cause more and more coming here to ask. Word spreads so if you stop, the questions will too. Just my .2cents

I think what Ian has brought to everyone's attention is well taken. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to point out a behavior and then things can change. It seems like people want to correct their course so hopefully Ian will not make a permanent exit.

Am I the only one that thinks that's not the point?....Off-topic questions in this thread is not the problem or issue here, right Ian?....it's people unwillingness to come together and provide helpful information so that everyone can be a part of the problem-solving, instead of being all spread out and secretive, all over modmyi and in private circles,,

Oh, this is not in response to your above post, krima....just saw this^

@ferlop. My post was about your very point. I agree that he was referring to the secrecy and exclusionist type of posting. I think this JB has shifted the atmosphere a little but I believe it can return.

Thank you for clarifying it wasn't in response to my post. You are good people.

I am available to trouble shoot anything you want. Ian, I apologize if anything I've said was taken as "in the circle" I shared what info I had regarding PPHTML, and we were trying to find a workaround. The JuneScreen dylib was something that allowed us to run other widgets on the lock, but it was from a paid donation and we were told that we were not to share or we would be pirates. So that is why users were not sharing that, at the creators request which was reasonable. Now GroovyLock is out, and it is available on Cydia, Jake posted a public link in his twitter before it ever went live in Cydia. I don't think there is intentional secrecy going on, i just think that we are all searching for workarounds rather than being patient, and most of the outside information is coming from twitter. I never even had a twitter until I entered the JB world and I only signed up because it seemed I was missing so much important news.

Don't leave your thread. You've always been here to support us, and I've always respected your work. As far as a beta team, I was honored to be on yours and I think that we solved quite a few issues before going public. So, l don't know if "useless" is quite the way that I would look at it. Sometimes it helps to have multiple sets of eyes on things without having to be inundated with support requests that a circle of a few could see before the general population can.

I wish you all the best Ian. In everything.

Here we have "CoffeeDiary_McFly_LS.theme" for iph4 and iph5. Credit to Ferlop for the original Coffee Diary SB design and credit to Ian and Dacal for UniAW as always...

    CoffeeDiary McFly LS - YouTube

Dual weather source and has all of the regular McFly extras (ie: like the 1 in 4 random WW's)

A couple of new things as well New hourly forecast scroll effect (credit to Matteo Spinelli for iscroll). Moon image above sunset time will now show actual moon phase. Also added percent visible on WW side.

I added a scrolling Weather Warning iwidget as you can see in the video. It is included but it's commented out in the LockBackground.html file as it won't work for everyone. PM me if you'd like more information on how to get it going for your Canadian city.

Just FYI, the original RSS iwidget I was using for the warning scroll (Krima's I think) was conflicting with the new hourly scroll effect for some reason so I used a different one. Not sure who to give credit to but I found it here: RSS Scrolling Widget (iWidgets addon) - YouTube

I did test this LS thoroughly but please let me know of any issues and I will fix asap.

    Download link: CoffeeDiary_McFly_LS.theme

    Enjoy!

@NewD - love your location iwidget but didn't end up using it this time. Thanks bro!
First off thank you sooooo much for this. I'm a little late and apologize if this has been answered, and I did browse as much I could. I've SSH'd this into GroovyLock and get it on my LS. However the feels like, wind, humidity, pressure, and uv index all either read zero or are blank (as well as county). Also I've tried pushing all around my LS and get nothing. Am I missing something? Thank you

EDIT: nevermind it just took awhile to load. Thanks again
