Nope. Did it again and again. Through 3 restores and 3 jailbreaks using 1.0.4. Nothing. Same error message. Just restored again and rejailbroke on 1.0.1 - worked perfectly. Cydia working normally. I'm back. Could BigBoss just have gotten its server act together in the EXACT moment of THIS rejailbreak on 1.0.1? Doubt it. And everything I read on HashSumMismatch has nothing to do with server problems and everything to do with jailbreak and Cydia installation issues.

I've found 20-30 other people with the same problem for the last 'several' days with 1.0.4 on their 5S's. So I' don't want to get into a long thing about it. All I know is that 1.0.4 on 5S is a no go for a bunch of us. I've tweeted evasi0n about it. We'll see what they say.

Thanks all for you attempts to help. That's 3 hours of my life I'll never get back.. LOL!!

Hmm. Never had a single error with the BigBoss repo the entire year on iOS6, Ian. Weird - we'd have such different experiences.. I'm a firm believer that WHICH jailbreak version you use means a lot.

A little off topic, but does anyone know where is the iOS 7 Theme guide website?...I tried the link mcooper listed on PLASMui but I get a 400 bad request....How does one manually clear the icon cache to change the clock icon?....Some iwidgets clock hands not showing for some reason, need to further investigate,

    Hi ferlop,

Not exactly sure what your saying here, are you talking about 2 separate issues?

    1. you can't change the clock icon?
    2. Some iwidgets clock hands not showing?

To change the clock icon all I did was make a new icon, and placed it in:
    Library/Themes/Ians_Icons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/ClockIconBackgroundSquare@2x~iphone.png
Re-spring via WB by first toggling anything in WB on & off so the re-spring button appears.

I have not seen the issue with the disappearing clock hands on iWidgets, but I only use the UniAW iWidget.

Yes 2 separate things.....Thx for the reply. I tried the clock icon name "icon@2x~iphone.png" but didn't change for me, and also tried [email protected] as someone else suggested, both 120x120......But I'm thinking I'm about to quit modding my phone for a good minute....Don't really get in the mood to start messing with this new jailbreak stuff all over again, it's exhausting after awhile, Lol.

for the clock icon has to be 120x120 square or with frame.. has you like

this is what i created on WB and work for me

    path : var/stash/Themes/

    1 - create a Folder Xxx.theme
2 - create another folder inside Xxx.theme call : Bundles
3 - create another folder inside Bundles call : com.apple.springboard
4 - put your icon inside name it to : ClockIconBackgroundSquare@2x~iphone.png

5 - make sure you theme is at the top list of winterboard to take effect

6 - if you want to clean caches for the icons manualy.. here thoses 2 folder you need to delete

    path : var/mobile/Library/Caches/

    com.apple.IconsCache & com.apple.springboard.sharedimagecache

    7- Respring via WB

    Hi all,

I got to run & catch a boat now but just a quickie before I go, you were probably aware of this, but incase you weren't (I wasn't, I just discovered it 5 minutes ago):

You can still manipulate icon text and calendar (number) with an Info.plist file in your theme's folder in WB, I don't have time now play further but wanted to change the calendar day colour to something other that red, I can change the number colour and icon text colour & shadow

Anyway, I attach a sample plist file for you to play with.

    Wow!! Awesome!

OK, here we go folks! Still a TON of work to do on this one but I got the basics going so I thought I'd post.

This is an Ezra themed Widget Weather UniAW6 iWidget. Credit to Kai312 for the original SB theme.

    -photo.png

Outside of the stock UniAW iWidget offered in post #1, I haven't seen too many UniAW iWidget mods! I know Chevy is testing an AWESOME new UniAW iWidget that's myLocation based I believe.

I think this could be one of the only Widget Weather UniAW iWidget mods though? I would love to see any others if they are out there somewhere!

I will share this one as soon as it's done but not a whole lot of time ATM. Take care all!

The oldest method for icon theming is still working perfect on iOS7
Renaming the icons as app names and making 2 icons for each...Calculator, Calculator@2x...etc
and putting them in a folder named Icons
    Except the clock app...

Yes. Actually, going forward, theme creators will be putting their masks on ALL ICONS since AppIconMask is handled completely differently in iOS7. So, though SummerBoard, still has the potential to slow down your phone - old technology.. There no more need to use the Bundles and Folders method OVER the Icons method in SummerBoard - EXCEPT for when that icon shows in other windows besides the springboard. Bundles Method is more complete in that the icon change will show everywhere. The Icons/Summerboard method will only make the icon change on the SpringBoard.

I was amazed to see that Saurik still left SummerBoard in WinterBoard. Does anyone know if Summerboard being on breaks info.plists? It DID break them from working on the iOS6 jailbreak.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

Hey guys, Loving all the work, you are all amazing!

Just wondering if anybody has any accuweather iwidgets they could link for me? Accuweather seemed to be more accurate here (Melbourne Australia) as the yahoo feed is usually off by a couple of degrees and location hasnt been amazing.

I think maybe Ferlop had some or Marty maybe?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Splatty
