    could someone tell me what I am doing wrong..
    re you using the dylib version if so you need to change the config.js in the SBAnimatedWeather folder should look like this
    var Yahoo_Code = "3495";
    var Accuweather_Code = "CAC|TT|TD003|PIERREVILLE|";

    nope, only changed the C to F. doing this has "broken" some other SB weather based themes for me in the past. for example, the NateD globe didn't work once I changed to F. That was on iOS6.3. Getting the same result on 7.04.

    Grrrr I am in need of some help if someone would be so kind. I am trying to move the text over to the left. The only thing that will go all the way over is the description. When I set the city and temp to 0px this is as far left as it will go. Any ideas? ImageUploadedByModMyi1389216609.075774.jpg

    Thank you!! It fixed it. I didn't think it was that only because the desc was set to center and was going all the way over!

  11. #12968
    That's because on desc it says width:320x; it should be width:320px;

    @Ian, would there be many steps in configuring into the yahoo.js file a way to "combine and center city and temp?"......or any 2 items,.....and would it also require a change in the HTML?.....my guess is yes because it would require a different div, correct?

    Use small case - c or f, not C or F.

    Hi ferlop, it's not too hard to do, yes would need a new div, look at the way I did SingleLineDate, you would do it in a similar way:

    Code:
    if (Single_Line_Date == true) {
    document.getElementById("SingleLineDate").innerHTML = days[currentTime.getDay()] + ", " + months[currentTime.getMonth()] + " " + currentDate + ". " + currentTime.getFullYear();
    }

    So for City & temp together you would do something like this:

    In HTML:
    Code:
    <div id="CityTempCombined"></div>

    In js: (look for the tempValue in the js file for the correct way to code a degree symbol, I do it here but the browser keeps changing it to a symbol) (and sign plus #176).
    Code:
    document.getElementById("CityTempCombined").innerHTML = obj.city + ", " + tempValue + "";

    In css:
    Code:
    #CityTempCombined{
    position: absolute;
    background-color: transparent;
    width: 320px;
    height: 20px;
    top: 135px;
    text-align: center;
    font-size: 14px;
    z-index: 81;
    text-shadow: black -2px 2px 2px;
    }

    Hi buddy. Yes, unfortunately it needs to be hard coded in warning.html with the RSS feed URL for one specific city.
    There is a version of the scroller which allows for multiple feeds. Hmmmm

    US city feeds can be found here: NWS Public Alerts in XML/CAP v1.1 and ATOM Formats - NOAA's National Weather Service

    For Canadian cities, this is how I did it. I went to the Environment Canada weather page for my city:

    Barrie, ON - 7 Day Forecast - Environment Canada

    Scroll to the very bottom of the page and look on the bottom left. You'll see the orange RSS logo and the word ATOM with "Weather and "Alert" next to it. Click on "Alert" - that will open the xml feed and the URL you need to put into rss/config.js.

    To be honest, I'm LOVING this alert scroll! Maybe it's because I live in an area that constantly gets weather alerts in the winter lol!

    Hi all,

    So I figured I had to take the plunge, I just updated my iph5 to IOS7 and jailbroke it.

    I just installed afc2add, what other essentials do I need?
    Do I need to install Cydia Substrate? (my phone is a normal i5)
    What's the name of the new tweak for icon placement?

    Sorry guys!

    Thanks.
