    Yes, it is working. No, can't really be used in any useful way yet.

    Hi everyone,

    I have a question about touch functions. This might be a "Dacal question" but I thought I'd throw it out there.

    Every mod I've seen with hourly forecast (including all of mine) has the same touch function associated with it. Initial view is the first 6 hours - swipe to the left to get the next 6 hours. Swipe to the right to go back to the first 6.

    I'm wondering how to change that to just a "drag" effect like the Yahoo Weather app uses.

    Here's a video to clarify. The first part shows the Yahoo Weather App and the "drag" effect that I'm looking for. The second part shows the "spring" effect that we're all used to.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been looking through the touchmove.js file but I don't even know if that's the right place - lol.

    It wouldn't be the touchmove.

    Well, sorta.. You need to look in there to find the class, right.

    Then all the "effects" are controlled by the CSS. Usually anyway. Whether it is or isn't, depends on the mod. It's always the translate x or translate y

    Thanks MJ, I looked at that in the CSS too. Found this:

    .forecastTranslateLeft { -webkit-transform : translateX(-320px); }
    .forecastTranslateRight { -webkit-transform : translateX(0px); }
    Just no idea what I would change that to, to get the effect I'm looking for.

    What device/firmware?
    Widget-Weather App Now Available! Also with MyLocation Support!
    Check out the thread here - Widget-Weather
    To install the Widget-Weather app, just go to Cydia and install. This will also remove MyLocation, as it is built in!
    Want to protect your JailBreak! Add this repo http://cydia.myrepospace.com/iLEXiNFO/ & Install "iLEX R.A.T."
    It will allow you to bring your phone back to a fresh jailbroken state!

    Would be complicated, you'd have to learn to script for the javascript touch API.

    What about using a variation of the clock effect in this LS:

    Touch clock - YouTube

    I can drag it anywhere in real time and the LS will remember where it was left. It uses a file called "UITouchPunch.js" which I believe is this: jQuery UI Touch Punch - Touch Event Support for jQuery UI

    I wonder if that can be customized to make it work?

    Check that scripts API, you would need to utilize a drag gesture, hammer.js is another good one. The one on the current Uni listens for touchstart and touchmove. You would need to listen for those and touch end. I'm a JS n00b but that lockscreen is a good place to start
