    MyLocation is working and creates the text file in Documents, Ian, according to Simon who did some testing. MyLocation even works on 5S but I can confirm that the dylibs don't work on A7.

    In the testing work I'm doing for GroovyCarrot, developer of NextGenUI (a total dylib-based theme) he's been telling me he's having a devil of a time getting it to recompile for 64bit. So we 5S'ers are out of luck for a while on many fronts.

    Thanks for giving new life to the dylib version of UniAW! Always loved animations floating over icons - even if this version is more battery intensive than the Winterboard version from what Dacal told us.
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    Default UniAW6_dylib_version_with_a_little_info (for IOS6 & 7 iph4 & 5 (NOT 5S))
    Hey all,

    Could someone try this version, it's much the same as the first one but I moved the sun/moon up, took out the arc & had to make it semi transparent so it's not so intrusive. I also added in City, Desc & temp. I hope the text in not too intrusive, I added one of my skinny fonts for it too.

    I cannot test it so would be great to see a screen shot on an i4 & i5.

    GroovyCarrot is a very clever guy, you can learn a lot from him.
    Do you remember who posted a tutorial on cydgets? maybe in was June? I can't find it anywhere, the search function in these boards are not too helpful.

    So sorry you got into trouble M8.

    @ MJ, yeah, I thought it wouldn't work on a 5S. Thanks.

    Another thing, I cannot see "cydia substrate or substrate safe mode" on my device??

    Oops, sorry, I thought I fixed all the walls, I will re-Upload later.
    Do what V did, or go into the background/iph5 folder and copy the "background.png" file into the iph4 folder (replacing the existing one), again, sorry I forgot to do the iph4 side of it

    Thanks V. Do you guys have SBSettings installed? Don't know if you need it or not.
    A screen shot would be good too.

    It can't run on the LS, but now I wish to learn about Cydgets and make a UniAW Cydget for the LS.
    I remember ages ago there was a thread explaining how to make them but I can't find it now

    EDIT: Link in post 12531 updated with image fix applied.
    No worries mate, like MJ said.. i was thinking the same with the plist for SWAB.. but still not sure if that can be also a issue.. well i have nothing to loose buy trying your work 👍

    Happy New Year from Canada everyone!

    Hi Ian,

    I've managed to get Ferlops latest UniAW mod working as a LS Cydget on my VERY slow iph4! Have a look at the video below of me scrolling through the LS Cydgets on my phone using the home button. In particular, the second one is Ferlops mod that I got working - obviously not perfect as the initial sizing is off but a great start I think! Curious to know what people think about this?

    The lag/delay in the video is EXTREMELY painful - sorry all...

    I think one good thing out of the LS changes in iOS 7 is that conventional methods will be outdated. Cydgets may get the attention it deserves. Poor Saurik, he has so much work ahead of him.

    Very grateful that he does all this for free. We really owe him a lot.

    I'm also wondering how we can tap into the power of this new animation method employed by the new iOS7 Weather.app. Really quite exquisite and realistic. I wonder if JavaScript WebKit might be "old school" by comparison. Ras explained what's involved in a thread recently.. Don't know if it was here. But check out the animations on your Weather.app now on iOS 7.. We need some of that action.. don't ya think?

    This info needs to be here, (taken from the link "RKO1195" posted .

    Editing Winterboard Lockscreens to work with Cydgets

    For many this will be an easy transition, only a few things to do.

    First off we need to make sure your existing lockscreen is able to work correctly, in 'Webview'.

    This is pretty simple the most part. Usually includes adding

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, minimum-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no"/>

    This allows your html to fit the device screen.

    File naming: In cydgets you will need to name your theme. myTheme.cydget

    Info.plist: Here you set the name and location of your html. Also you can activate scrolling

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    <key>Configuration</key>
    <dict>
    <key>Homepage</key>
    <string>file:///System/Library/LockCydgets/upload.cydget/index.html</string>
    <key>Scrollable</key>
    <string>NO</string>
    </dict>
    <key>Plugin</key>
    <string>WebCycriptLockScreen</string>
    <key>Tagline</key>
    <string>miLockSimple</string>
    </dict>
    </plist>

    This need to be added to the base folder of your theme.

    Thats it.

    What saurik makes in terms of $ due to his work on winterboard etc.

    I'm not saying he shouldn't make it. Just don't feel too sorry for him that's all

    I don't understand people's attitudes towards others who discover ways to monetize their unique skills. We all do that to secure jobs, raises, etc. Lately it seems that people's subtext to "Well they make money or he makes money off of this" is delivered with a negative connotation. As if to say that they don't deserve appreciation just because it isn't done with absolute altruism.

    I love Apple and I appreciate the products they make and I could care less that they make **** ton of money. Apple making money doesn't translate into less appreciation and I apply this same principal to Saurik and Cydia.

    Sorry for the rant and though this continues what Gunny and I have said, I don't mean this as a slight against you. Mostly from all the crap that proceeded after the jailbreak that pissed me off.

    No right or wrong here, it's just my point of view.
