    Any word from Ian? :-/

    I'm sure he's dealing with stuff at home. The real life takes priority. As least I hope that is the case

    Aside from taking care of his family and helping others, which is his main priority, let's remember that he told us he'd probably be without internet in his region/area for many months.....that's the reason we haven't heard from him....Hope he's making it alright, tho, considering.

    Anyways, it's just a random idea I had and tried to make happen...it originally had just the static background wall as seen in the previous screenies(and the first two below), but I also thought I'd see how it looked with the blurred walls...blah blah blah, I wasn't sure which way worked best so I thought I'd post both...

    Hi all,

    Ain't got a lot of time but just wanted to say all is good, we actually got electricity back on a couple of days ago so am over the moon about that.

    I have done my back in lifting large gasoline containers & generators, doc says it should be ok by 2 weeks, I'm currently walking about like I'm a 90 year old man, the kids think it
    s very amusing
    I am naturally thin but now I'm too thin, I lost too much weight due to de-hydation (sweating too much without air-con or electric fans).

    Our home has been refuge to many, all have moved on now living with relatives, I'm not going to get into details but the stories are very sad, that said - things are starting to be like normal again, yesterday I even got internet back on in the house.

    I have spent a small fortune here on generators, gasoline and supplies, thank god things are returning to normal a lot sooner that predicted.

    Sorry haven't read all the previous posts but I do see that mod above from Nate - Awesome job M8, so original.

    Gotta run now, there is a HUGE party in our house tonight to celebrate the returning electric supply, I think the whole town is coming for a feed.

    Once again thanks for all your support (I got no doubt King and many others have been helping out here), oh, and my iphone is broken, but it's the last thing on my mind atm.

    Thanks again all.

    Ian.

    Here is an idea to push it even further

    if (weather_description=="fair" && temperature<0)
    {
    weather_description= "Bloody freezing";
    $('#temperature_font_css_ID').css('font-family',snow_font_face_name);
    $('#weather_description_font_css_ID').css('font-family',snow_font_face_name);
    $('#temperature_font_css_ID').css('font-size',50px);
    $('#weather_description_font_css_ID').css('font-size',36px);
    $('#temperature_font_css_ID').css('color',rgba(0,1 10,255,0.9));
    $('#weather_description_font_css_ID').css('color', rgba(0,130,255,0.8));
    }
    if (weather_description=="fair" && temperature>30)
    {
    weather_description= "Bloody hot";
    $('#temperature_font_css_ID').css('font-family',heat_font_face_name);
    $('#weather_description_font_css_ID').css('font-family',heat_font_face_name);
    $('#temperature_font_css_ID').css('font-size',50px);
    $('#weather_description_font_css_ID').css('font-size',36px);
    $('#temperature_font_css_ID').css('color',rgba(255 ,110,0,0.9));
    $('#weather_description_font_css_ID').css('color', rgba(255,130,0,0.8));
    }

    This would change the temperature and weather description font, font size and font colour as well. Remember you need to have the new fonts as font-face css entries as well, such an example would be the CF Snowball font for being freezing.
    Alternative you could use a frosty background image, e.g. $('#weather_description_font_css_ID').css('backgro und-image',frosty.png);, or an animated flame gif for the hot condition, e.g. $('#weather_description_font_css_ID').css('backgro und-image',flame.gif);.

    You also could push it further and define temperature ranges, for example below 0, 1-15, 16-28, over 28 and give each range a different colour, so just by looking at the colour you can see how cosy it is or will be if applied to the forecast as well.

    Your imagination is the only limiting factor.

    That's an easy one to fix mate..you just need to open the main CSS for your device(either i4 or i5) and search for "#humidity"..a few lines before that you'll see "display:none;", and all you need to do is delete the "none" and the humidity will be visible..Then you'll just need to adjust the positioning to suit yourself.. If you have any issues let me know
