On the tab u can have widgets so I thought some 1 may have made a Uniaw widget for the tab
Android is an entirely different operating system. Widgets are created entirely differently. iPhone widgets will never port to Android without being entirely rewritten. So you're out of luck, bro.
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

Thanks man! Nope, just regular UniAW animation.

Looking at the picture again though, the leaves don't quite look right this time of year. I would love a "snowflake" 'wind option' for the winter but unfortunately my PS skills just wouldn't cut it. If there is anyone that can make that happen, you would be my new favourite person - lol!

I don't know about all that, I'm pretty sure android widgets are html5 bundled together, just like our iPhone widgets. If schnedi didn't disappear I'd say hit him up, he's done both... Actually I think junesiphoneay have experience with android widgets... Just a shot in the dark there

Not all the javascript based stuff we're working with is a matter of HTML5 or not... Suffice it to say - I've done a lot of reading.. and when people have ported Android widgets to iPhone - they've just copped the design - but have completely redone the code and remade the images. It's not like they pull the widget from Android and it open on an iPhone. That ain't happenin'.. CAN it be done.. OH YES!.. But UniAW is the largest and most complicated widget for iPhone. It won't port to Android any time soon. That's the main point I'm making..

Shouldn't be too hard to add it to uniaw, just about putting the code in the right places for each rain condition. I added it to one of my widgets and a live wallpaper Mac widget pretty easily. Would be a little more involved with uniaw but not too hard. If I get some free time next few days I'll try it out with UNIAW.

It has its own subreddit, I PM'd the dev a while back and he was quick to reply and helpful. He actually suggested putting uniaw on github... Not a bad idea IMO

True android to iPhone ports are mostly just design rips (you're right it's easy to code an analog clock or simple forecast widget) however iPhone to android didn't seem too complicated (again referring to simple widgets) I don't think you'd be able to use for example uccw to display uniaw, but I'm 75% sure that android widgets are html5 wrapped in a unique zip (html5 meaning JS CSS3 Canvas etc.) however I just remembered how ahead of the curve apple is with their WebKit browsers. That could make android ports a severe headache

    Typhoon Haiyan update.

I know you have all seen the news & video's about this disaster & know I'm starting my journey their in a few hours.
The situation is very bad, my wife reports gas prices have tripled in our area, unbelievable how some people take advantage of these situations!
Most 4 wheeled vehicles in our area cannot get very far due to all the debris so almost all people are using their small motorbikes for transport, my wife tells me our 2 motorbike shops (not selling bikes, just customizing and repairs) have never been so busy, we are currently carrying out all repairs for all people free of labor charge.
My wife got my generator running again, so we are charging all our villagers cell phones once per day between 7pm & 8pm.
When I get their we will travel to Tacloban area, not sure at this time what I can do but will be trying to help out any kids in need of a home.
It's a sad sad time their, I will be losing a months salary but money means little to me in times like this, I would sell the shirt off my back to feed a kid a meal.

Probably be offline for a few days, take it easy everybody & thanks for the company while I'm away from home.

    Ian.
