Yea bacardi but if you look closely at his pic the temp is already in front of the clouds, it's because the temp is white and the clouds are white also that's why he cannot see it clearly.

BTW bacardi, I kept looking at the screenshot of your mac and wish I could have that on my pc!

i can see that white over white doesnt look good lool need another color i guess

by the way Sazzat what is the opacity of your #temp? that can affect also the visiblity

EDiT : Kai, Ian and Dacal did amazing job on this widget.. but re-making all the weatherwalls with PS is a pain the( you know where lol ) some of them are very hard to find and modify, i hope someone will find a solution for windows platform soon.. so we can work on that also

Hmm ... I thought the first line said exactly that.

This is a little Google-Maps cydget for the Lockscreen, which will show you the GPS position from the latitude and longitude values from the widgetweather.xml file.
Look at the javascript code in the index.html file and you will see that it uses the latitude and longitude values from the widgetweather.xml file to put the marker on the Google maps.

Hey there. I am using Marty's duel weather widget mod. I am having trouble with the sunrise and sunset time. When the weather theme is set to yahoo mod the times are good. When I change it to the accuweather mod the times are off by 1 hour. I know I can change it in the config file but that messes the yahoo time up. Is there away just to change the accuweather sunrise times. Thanks.

There is a way to fix this but I'm not at my computer so can't show you a screen shot, basically you need to search the UniAW-accuweather.js file for "GMT" then set the offset (-1, 0, or +1) their.

Of course. Ras.. That code is exactly what I used to create the Google and WU modules of my City iWidget.. You misunderstood my first post. I'm not talking about the WidgetWeather.xml file. I was talking about the widgetweatherRAW.xml file which is created only when logging is set to on. Though I did make a mistake. The "raw" file is on all the time. The one that is a minute by minute snapshot is called weather.log. The WidgetWeather XML (without the word "raw" in it) only updates when Yahoo senses a new city. The weather.log could be used, I believe, for coordinates every 100m if we could jQuery into it. And could be used for widgets in the SB and LS. That was my challenge for you. But even better would be the file called GPS.log which Stephen discontinued after version 1.4-7 of WW. It was a minute by minute printing of lat/long.

I agree with you, Kai. But there is one Z index issue that has to be fixed in this mod. The dandelion and the seeds sit on top of the city name and the description. You can't see them when the dandelion's functioning.

    Ahh, now I get it!
Sorry, but I think this misunderstanding was based on my ignorance about the raw file, did not know something like this existed. The same for the log files.
I thought there was just the xml file (no raw in the filename!) and that's it.
If there is a file that has no encrypted content then you can get that content or part of it with jquery.

Is a WOEID that updates every 100m or so exact enough from which to get an accurate city from Google or WU? Or is WOIED a Yahoo based thing?

    WOEID (Where On Earth IDentification)
A WOEID is a unique 32 bit reference identifier assigned by Yahoo! to identify any feature on Earth.

Just helping out Bacardi85 with the Mac version (yes I haven't positioned the feelslike yet) and still got all the animations to do.
Bacardi85 will redo the css to his tastes, I just want to get all things working & resizing correctly.
Just started so lots to do yet but the timedwalls look quite good.
Everything will resize to fit all screen sizes automatically.

Looking good. I think I figured out what is wrong with my Mac, bad sata cable due to my SSDs need for maximum bandwidth power, but should be good to go in time for this. Thanks for the hard work Bacardi, Ian, RKO, and I suppose NewD. Anyone else involved, much appreciated.

@Bacardi. Have you tried Mavericks OS? Does candybar still work? I'm debating if I want to update yet. Also, looks like my Mac is fixed, installed new sata cable and all is well.
