    Yes, it is possible, requires some coding.
    Simply extract the latitude and longitude from the ww.xml file and then fetch the weather for that GPS position from Accuweather or what ever.

But pretty much all the newer SB widgets are being released using WW.
    True and wrong, Grant.
    Apple uses Yahoo for its iOS Weather app and WW "hijacks" the Weather app and puts the response data into an xml file. Now what information you use from widgetweather.xml is up to everybody themself. You could only use the latitude and longitude from that xml file to then fetch all the weather info from Accuweather or what ever weather service you like, you do not need MyLocation any more as the WW.xml file also has the latitude and longitude and gets updated regulary just as the latitude and longitude in myLocation.txt file was. Which still leaves a dependency of the widget to get the GPS position from somewhere, first it was from myLocation.txt, now it gets it from WW.xml.
    However there is another way for the lockscreen only through the use of cydgets, which does not need any dependency as it can create its own latitude and longitude values with geolocation javascript each time it runs, so it runs all on its own, no helping tweak required.

    Yes I was realizing recently that though I can get a better more accurate city name from Google or WeatherUnderground- we're still constrained to the lat/long coordinates only updating when WW sees a new city from Yahoo. Just realized that.. Sure wish I had access directly to the GPS antenna to send its results to any JSON I want. Maybe someday.

    Yeah.. And therein lies the weakness - as Lockscreens aren't the only place you want access to the GPS raw data. I am intrigued by a file WW makes available that has nothing to do with when Yahoo writes to the WidgetWeather.xml. It's a file only available when log is turned on. But the widgetweatherraw.xml updates every time the GPS antenna hits a threshold of distance. About every 50 meters - and records lat/long coordinates in the raw.xml file. If we could get the coordinates from that XML - it wouldn't matter when Yahoo sees a city or not. You're just the guy, Ras, to tap into that file..

    We talked about many things in that thread. But we didn't specifically talk about how to get coordinates from the widgetweather-raw.XML file. At least the link you posted there didn't speak about that.

    okey what you have to do is go to css/main/Uniaw.css( the one you are using for your phone ) look for : #cloudContainer put the z-index : 0;

    you will see your clouds at the back of the script

    Actually everything is right already, the temp is already in front of the clouds. As you can see the description and the hi/lo is already in front of the clouds and it's together with the temp. It's in the weatherinfo container.

    Maybe you can adjust the shadow of the temp so you can see it better but no need to adjust the z-index
