Default NEW realease: "NEWD ULTIMATE LOCATION iWidget(WW)"-3 locations serivces to choose from
This is the last thread I'll 'spam' with this.. but I know a lot of my users watch this thread..

Actually several have been asking for this and here is the unveiling of my NEWEST Location Tracking iWIDGET(WW).. because it really sucks every possible inference of location out of the widgetweather.xml PLUS - NEW FEATURE - three different weather services to pull from for Main City..

    1) YAHOO (native to WidgetWeather)
    2) GOOGLE (free - no API needed)
    3) WEATHER UNDERGROUND (most accurate for main city - but needs a free API you can get from their site)

My Location iWidget has options for fonts and colors and justification alignment and launches stock with 3 lines of data: Main City, Alternate City (in US this is your Township in the burbs, The words "the Borough" or "in Town" if you're in the center of a large town, or this reports the section of a large city.. Like QUEENS in New York or MANAYUNK in Philly - all auto inferred with my code). And on Line 3 you get the County. All switchable on and off depending what you want.

    WidgetWeather tweak from Cydia needed!!
    iWidget tweak from Cydia needed!!

If you get an API key for Weather Underground - you'll see where to place it in the Main.js file so you don't have to type it in everytime you use the Options for the iWidget. Thought that was better and easier.

So enjoy this.. I'll get some more pics up later today..

    Newd Ultimate LocationiWid(WW)

Thanks always to Drifter for the original idea of Independent Elements iWidgets
Then to Dacal who helps us ALL when we get stuck in our coding..
And to The_Durben and King_O_Hill for the great engine called Widget Weather and all their help and support.

    Enjoy!

Oooo... Just had a 7.2 earthquake here, 5 minutes later a 5.4 aftershock and this moment another aftershock. The main (7.2 magnitude) lasted 12 seconds, it was centered in Bohol Island, about 30Km from my home, haven't heard of any damage reports yet but all ok in my village. No tsunami threat.

I don't know what that is, I'm afraid don't speak the language very well.

They are now saying it was a 7.1 magnitude quake, we also felt 4 aftershocks: two 5.4, one 5.0 and a 4.8.

A few buildings have collapsed in Cebu causing some fatalities, 12 people lost their lives. One little girl (4 years old) was trampled to death in a stampede to evacuate a building - that just pisses me off.

Hey Guys, im looking everywhere to find a solution for this but with no luck at the moment, i was wondering if somebody in here got a clue or can help me out with this, im using jellylock and im trying to find out how i could change the color of the numbers displayed in the little badge beside the mail icon, my normal badges on the springborad are ok and i know that i can change it in the info.plist file but i searched for a similar file at var/library/ApllicationSupport/JellLock but there is nothing i could see to change the color of the number. I hope you guys have some ideas, because i donīt know where to look anymore.

I feel you there how can someone not just take the extra 1 second and pick up the little girl and run to safety with her. I have been a Volunteer Firefighter for 14 years getting ready to start my 15th and every time I hear something like this it absolutely makes me pissed off. Glad to hear that you and your family is all okay, hope there is no damage to your house.

    Hi Brian,

It's an awesome phenomenon, but I hope you never get to experience it M8, another after shock is happening as I type this, it's a scary experience, I'm always thinking the house is going to fall as the local building materials here are a joke, you can crumble a brick with your bare hands as I recon it's mostly sand with very little concrete to save them money, I'm lucky I built my house with re-bar (16mm round steel rods) running through every brick in every wall.

Remember when you were a kid and when you were bad someone would grab you by both shoulders an give you a good shake? Well it's something like that but it's your world that's shaking maybe an inch or two both ways.
Everyone panics and heads outdoors, I was sleeping when it woke me, I ran downstairs to get my 12 year old girl and found out she was already out in the street so she has been taught well, but I did have a joke with her about leaving her old man sleeping upstairs haha.. she's a good kid.

This was my second earthquake experience here, the first one was centered in the ocean far away but we still felt it strongly, everybody was panicking heading for high ground in fear of a tsunami, I just stayed put, by the time the wave hit us it was only around 3 inches high.

Wow, Ian. Glad you're okay bro. Last year in the Northeast of the US there was an earthquake (very rare for NE USA) epicentered somewhere in central Virginia. It was only 4.9 or 5.1 - something much more minor... but the fault lines in the NE US are so long it was felt over 1000 miles from its epicenter. From Florida to Vermont is was sensed at some level. It was my first. I'm only 6 hours from Virginia in my part of PA - but I just remember hearing a slight 'rattling noise' in the ceiling of my office.. and when I stood up - there was this sense of -- how do you explain it.. Something 'IM-movable' -- MOVING - underneath your feet.. The closest analogy is to the way your legs feel after you've been on a long flight.. They're called 'sea legs' and I guess the same sensation is gotten from being on a boat then back on land.. Your muscles in your legs are constantly making slight adjustments to keep balanced.

Even that small earthquake we felt from Florida to Vermont had that sensation in my legs.. It lasted about 90 seconds... And was very, very disconcerting... Don't ever want to experience it again. Don't know how folks in California deal with it... LOL!!

    Glad you're ok..
