    that is weird
    Not strictly GPS. You can use your woeid through the settings section of WW if that's what you like. You can add the neighborhood if you want it too.

    I have no idea for the 400 temp?!?!

    Are you referring to the LockScreen Widget? If so - once you click on the Timed Walls option. It will stay there without you ever having to clik it again. So no problem.

    If it's a Springboard version of the the Widget - then simply enter the file called config.js and look for the line that lets you enter "timedwalls" as a choice - and enter it as such. Respring.. and you're done.

    I just explained exactly how it's done in my last post. Read carefully adioph.

    In the LockScreen version simply clik on the daisy and then you'll see the option for the TimedWalls. Clik it - and you're done.

    in the lockscreen, how can it be done if the daisy is not clickable or available?

    Firstly which widget are you talking about? The most recent UniAW6.4_LS (WW)??? If so - then the Daisy is clickable unless you have a wrong version. If you're trying to use the LockScreen version as a SpringBoard version (changed LockBackground.html to Wallpaper.html) then it won't work at all. You have to download the Winterboard version for SpringBoard that Dacal made available several pages back.

    If you have the proper LockScreen version - the daisy will be clickable.

    Hi,

    I don't have time to test this, will look later, but for WidgetWeather maybe in the js file this lines need to be changed:

    I'm sure it's something about this as temp unit is selected now in the settings screen, but gotta run now, good luck.

    Code:
    	// Heat index computed using air temperature (f) and humidity %
    	if (tempUnit=="c" && obj.temp >= 27 && obj.humidity >= 40) {
    		var marty;
    		marty = (obj.temp) * 9/5 + 32;
    		var hi = -42.379+2.04901523*(marty)+10.14333127*(obj.humidity)-0.22475541*(marty)*(obj.humidity)-6.83783*(Math.pow(10, -3))*(Math.pow(marty, 2))-5.481717*(Math.pow(10, -2))*(Math.pow((obj.humidity), 2))+1.22874*(Math.pow(10, -3))*(Math.pow((marty), 2))*(obj.humidity)+8.5282*(Math.pow(10, -4))*(marty)*(Math.pow((obj.humidity), 2))-1.99*(Math.pow(10, -6))*(Math.pow((marty), 2))*(Math.pow((obj.humidity),2));
    		var heatindex = Math.round((hi - 32) * 5/9);
    		obj.realFeel = heatindex;
    	} else {
    		if (tempUnit=="f" && obj.temp >= 80 && obj.humidity >= 40){
    			var hi = -42.379+2.04901523*(obj.temp)+10.14333127*(obj.humidity)-0.22475541*(obj.temp)*(obj.humidity)-6.83783*(Math.pow(10, -3))*(Math.pow(obj.temp, 2))-5.481717*(Math.pow(10, -2))*(Math.pow((obj.humidity), 2))+1.22874*(Math.pow(10, -3))*(Math.pow((obj.temp), 2))*(obj.humidity)+8.5282*(Math.pow(10, -4))*(obj.temp)*(Math.pow((obj.humidity), 2))-1.99*(Math.pow(10, -6))*(Math.pow((obj.temp), 2))*(Math.pow((obj.humidity),2));
    			var heatindex = Math.round(hi);
    			obj.realFeel = heatindex;
    		}
    	}
    	// End of Heat index

    			var heatindex = Math.round(hi);
    			obj.realFeel = heatindex;
    		}
    	}
    	// End of Heat index

    obj.celsius == "YES"

    so is this new one Marty...i don't enter my Yahoo WOEID 12789915 or my zipcode...

    is this all GPS based?

    I miss seeing the different Neighborhoods...

    these lines are not in the config.js
    should they?

    var gps = true;
    var updateInterval = 5; // in minutes.
    var useAccuweather = true; // false for Yahoo.
    var useRealFeelForForecast = false; // set to false if using Yahoo.
    var Yahoo_Code = "12789915";
    var Accuweather_Code = "74012";
    Hi Bliken,

    First thing is you need to learn the difference between the 'regular' UniAW6 and 'Widget Weather' UniAW6

    Those forecast descriptions you like come from Accuweather so unfortunately they are not available in this WW mod.

    I will have a look at the heat index code to see if I can figure out what's going on there for you. Will get back to you on this one. Works for me perfectly on Celsius but I see you use Fahrenheit so I will take a look.

    As far as Neighbourhood, I have no idea why it's not working for you Have you been travelling at all to test it? I can tell you that I travel in many areas where I don't get neighbourhood so as I'm travelling it comes and goes. Sometimes no city, sometimes no neighbourhood but always at least one or the other for me. That's why I like both on the screen by default. Let me know exactly what's happening (or not happening ) if you can and I will do my best to get you sorted out.

    EDIT: You do have "Neighbourhood Location" turned on in the settings app right?

    Here is what I have selected. And traveling I see the city never the neighborhood like I do with regular UNiAW6.4

    ImageUploadedByModMyi1377653080.655520.jpg

    Should I change constant to fixed or manual?

    You don't need to change anything, your settings are all good

    WW works differently and RKO1195 has confirmed that 'neighbourhood' may not work the same way for some ppl in the US and that 'county' works great as an alternative. I'm going to change it so it uses county information instead of neighbourhood when neighbourhood is blank.

    Just to confirm, neighbourhood is blank in your xml file? Can you post a screenshot?

    Thanks RKO!

    Well after 2 reboots. The only issue now is the feels like temp being a TAD HIGH.

    County(city) is on top and neighborhood is below.

    Thanks Marty.

    Hello. I have added the Simon's rainpane to Marty's 6.4 Uniaw mod and also to the 6.4 iwidget mod. I am having a little issue. When it stops raining the rainpane disappears with Marty's mod which it should do but the top of the rainpane remains for the iwidget mod until I do a respring. Is there any code I can add to fix this problem with the iwidget. Thanks

    Setting Neighborhood to get County from the XML will leave a lot of location info for cities out. People in Queens New York City will just get New York County. People in Aramingo Philadelphia will just get Philadelphia County.

    The XML in the US returns, for extraLocNeighborhood one of three things:
    1) null
    2) an actual Large City Neighborhood (Queens, Bronx, etc)
    3) Same name as city

    So I think the code should be written with a series of "if else" statements that tests for all the above cases and in the cases of 1 & 3 then uses County when option is set to Neighborhood. But case 2, when it returns an actual neighborhood, the user will want to see that neighborhood name.

    I wrote the code, Marty, to test for those cases if you're interested. Though you and Dacal already know how to I'm sure.. But I've studied scores of city info that the XML returns for neighborhood. And people will rarely just want County listed.

    Just thought I'd share that..

    Also - what Dacal currently labels "city" in the config.js should be relabeled "City2/Township". In US it always returns township and in Europe Asia another city name. Maybe that one can be called "Region". And what's labeled "default" should be relabeled "City" or "main city" something like that, as it always returns a city name. "default" is a confusing term there.

    Yes, this is how it would look....I think much improved icons layout, but need to move "analog clock, city, description, temp" up a little....can you position those things and PM me the changed css file?....I'm trying to make some dark, and light overlays too.....I don't have the iconoclasm, but really easy to make....
