    All fixed and everything is now working, I am currently uploading the new LS now.

    EDIT..

    LS version in post 1 now updated again, I fixed my moon rise/set fader, now the fader only works on the AccuWeather side as Yahoo doesn't have the moon times, tomorrow I will apply this fix this in the PP and SB versions.

    So now, in the LS version, we also have a new option in the daisy menu, thanks to Marty & Dacal we can choose between AccuWeather or Yahoo right from the menu.

    All the best to all.

    Thanks David & Marty.
    Thanks for the thanks Ian

    But again, I will not take any credit for this. I sent the idea to Dacal and he got back to you and I with the working code! In less then 24 hours I might add!! He is truly the genius behind this once again! Thank you Dacal.

    After I sent the idea, I tried it on my own - I got pretty close but 'pretty close' might as well be not at all!! Of course looking at Dacals code, I quickly found the error in my ways!

    I hope everyone enjoys it!

    Haha - when in the right mood for sure!!

    It did peak my interest pretty quickly! It's basically a matter of looking in the feed for "Full Moon", "Last Moon" or "New Moon" (I believe it just reports them as 'Full', 'Last' or 'New') and report the associated dates that are listed next to them...

    Example from feed:
    <Phase date="8/21/2013" text="Full">14</Phase>

    I don't think it would be that hard - although if I had a nickel.....lol

    If I can find some time I would love to give it a try.

    Ive managed to get everything arranged the way I like it this is my SB on iPhone 4 using ferlops latest mod based on UniAW 6.4, allthough something appears to be wrong with my clock if anyone could help me, if anyone could let me know what you think or if anything looks out of place/positioned that would be greatly appreciated, also Ive not made any changes to the sizing/height of the clouds,balloons etc.. to reflect a more realistic look not sure if anyone has done this yet for the i4-photo.png

These files are to replace their counterparts in the widget you download from page 273. So just replace the files already in these locations with the ones uploaded below. When iFile asks you to overwrite - choose OVERWRITE ALL.

    What these files do - is make the Timed Walls scale to a 'top window' full view where you see most of the panoramic view (thanks, Ferlop, for that code and all the rest). But many of the animations (clouds, balloons) were coming too far down into the Timed Walls shots, at their new size, to look realistic. These updated files will make the animations scale to the smaller pic (again - thanks, Ferlop, for the code !).

    Remember - you need to import Ian's Timed Walls from UniAW6.4_SB or LS for Ferlop's SB widget to find them. He didn't include them for space issues. Though if you like "full screen weather walls" instead - or "day/night walls" (choosable in config.js) -- these updated animations will look more realistic in the smaller top window approach for them as well.

    I believe the sun/moon and stars and the rain drops themselves along with rain containers may also need work to look more realistic too.. I'll get to them later. But for now the balloons and clouds are all adjusted and look great.

    This is only updated for iPhone 5.

    Enjoy!!

    To have the fullmoon date.

    In fetchWeatherData() :

    var url = "http://apple.accuweather.com/adcbin/apple/Apple_Weather_Data.asp?zipcode=" + zip + "&metric=" + tempUnit;
    $.get(url, function (data) {
    xmldata = true;
    obj = {error: false};
    $(data).find('CurrentConditions').each(function () {
    if (gps == false) {
    obj.city = $.trim($(this).find('City').text());
    if (zip.indexOf('|') != -1) { // ONLY FOR ZIP OUT OF USA
    tempzip = zip.split('|');
    obj.coordinates = tempzip[3].substr(0, 15);
    } else {
    obj.coordinates = zip;
    }
    } else {
    obj.city = city;
    obj.coordinates = textLat + " " + textLong;
    }
    obj.windspeed = $.trim($(this).find('WindSpeed').text()) * 1;
    obj.humidity = $.trim($(this).find('Humidity').text());
    obj.icon = $.trim($(this).find('WeatherIcon').text()) * 1;
    obj.winddir = $.trim($(this).find('WindDirection').text());
    obj.rising = $.trim($(this).find('Pressure').attr('state'));
    obj.visibility = $.trim($(this).find('Visibility').text()) * 1;
    obj.UVIndex = $.trim($(this).find('UVIndex').text());
    if (tempUnit == 1) {
    obj.pressure = Math.round($.trim($(this).find('Pressure').text()) * 33.8638864);
    } else {
    obj.pressure = $(this).find('Pressure').text();
    }
    obj.realFeel = $.trim($(this).find('RealFeel').text());
    obj.temp = $.trim($(this).find('Temperature').text());
    obj.description = $.trim($(this).find('WeatherText').text());
    });

    obj.moondesc = [];
    obj.moondate = [];
    obj.moonphase = [];
    var t = 0;
    $(data).find('Phase').each(function () {
    obj.moondesc[t] = $.trim($(this).attr('text'));
    obj.moondate[t] = $.trim($(this).attr('date'));
    obj.moonphase[t] = $.trim($(this).text());
    t++;
    });

    obj.sunrise = $.trim($(data).find('Sun').attr('rise'));
    In dealWithWeather() :

    for (var i=0; i < obj.moondate.length; i++) {
    if (obj.moondesc[i] == "Full") {
    document.getElementById("fullmoon").innerHTML = "Full moon on " + months[obj.moondate[i].split('/')[0]-1] + " " + obj.moondate[i].split('/')[1];
    }
    }
    Of course, need to add in LockBackgroundhtml :

    <div id="moonrisetext"></div>
    <div id="moonsettext"></div>
    <div id="fullmoon"></div>
    <img id="sunriseimg" src="Images/SunriseSunset/sunrise.png"/>
    <img id="sunsetimg" src="Images/SunriseSunset/sunset.png"/>
    And in the CSS, something like that (just an exemple, need to find a better position) :

    #fullmoon {
    position: absolute;
    top: 50px;
    right: 5px;
    text-align: right;
    width: 150px;
    height: 12px;
    text-shadow: Black -2px 2px 2px;
    font-size: 12px;
    opacity: 1.0;
    }
    It's just an exemple, for accuweather only. Need to adjust for translation in other languages, etc...

    Default UniAW6.4Best01LS.theme
    Hi everyone,

    I was going to PM this to Voltage seeing as he asked for it but I thought why not post it for everyone! I hope that's ok??

    I've never seen this LS before but Voltage asked if it could be converted to UniAW 6.4. Ask and you shall receive my good man...

    -new-2.png

    This is just for i5 and since I don't have one, the screen shot is from Google Chrome. Hopefully someone can let me know it's working ok. Very few customizations. I made it the exact same as the 6.3 one Voltage sent me although this one is based on the newest version of the 6.4 LS in Post #1.

    The CSS file in the one Voltage sent me was a little messed up so I hope I got the design right. Left side seems a little blank to me. Away, here you go all. Mod away!

    Download Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9sjnyvjevh...01LS.theme.zip

    Enjoy!

    P.S. Took me a little while to figure out how to hide Ian's new Sunrise/Sunset/Moonrise/Moonset fader. Tried Opacity 0 and display none. In the end, I had to comment out the animation lines in the CSS...

    /* -webkit-animation: moon_info_fader 20s linear infinite normal; */

    ...thanks for all.
    OK, here you go. How to add the new "Weather Source" button:

    1) The major changes are in the "touchmove.js" file. I don't change much in that file when modding so I was able to just replace the entire file which made things super easy! So the first step is to replace this file with the version in post #1. If you need to know what lines exactly were changed in this file, best to just open them up next to each other and compare

    2) Dacal mentioned there were changes in the "main.js" file as well but I wasn't able to see any difference after the new button was added. Maybe he can shed some light on this one? It's the only one I can't help with - sorry. I just replaced the whole file because once again, I don't really change this for modding. So if that works for you, next step is to replace this file with the version in post #1.

    This is where you can't really just replace files if you've been doing some modding:

    3) In "LockBackground.html", under the "optionContainer" you need to add this with the other buttons:

    <div id="version" class="TextColorBlue"></div>

    4) In the CSS files, at the very, very bottom - just before "/* END */", put this:

    #version {
    position: absolute;
    top: 424px;
    left: 20px;
    width: 278px;
    height: 22px;
    }

    5) Now in the CSS files, under the "#optionContainer" element, You will need to play with the 9 button settings to get them all to fit right. If you have an i4 and things are set too low, you won't be able to tap the bottom button.

    That's it! I hope this helps. If it does, maybe it should be added to my signature? Simon seems to be in charge of my signature - lol.

    Quote Originally Posted by j0k3r View Post

    I can list the formatting changes in the CSS files but too much to type to show changes in UniAW6_accuweather.js file. Best to compare side by side with a previous version.

    For CSS, basically just two new "WEBKIT ANIMATION CODES" added to the top:

    sun_info_fader
    moon_info_fader

    Then it's just these new elements added:

    #moonrise
    #moonrisetext
    #moonset
    #moonsettext
    #sunrise2
    #sunriseimg2
    #sunrisetext2
    #sunset2
    #sunsetimg2
    #sunsettext2

    Then in LockBackground.html, within the "WeatherInfo" DIV...

    <div id="sunrise2"></div>
    <div id="sunset2"></div>
    <div id="moonrise"></div>
    <div id="moonset"></div>

    EDIT: Seems I was a bit out of my league on this one folks as there is a lot more to it. Sorry. See Ian's post below.

    Hi all,

    @ Marty,
    Hi pal, there is a lot more in the fader code than there seems to be, if you look at the LS version I changed a few things in the Yahoo code too, I got to do this today in the PP & SB versions, there is also code in the translation.js and html file.
    I highly recommend anybody adding upgrades to mods should search google for a free file comparison program/software, it's what I use all the time, I'm on a Mac and use "DiffMerge", I don't know what the Windows guys use. When Dacal send me something I have usually already changed some code on my end so this comparison software is a life saver.

    @ Dacal,
    Thanks again but... I'm so sorry, this is not really exactly what I meant, you know I like to complicate things LOL... (Maybe this is why I was not "in" on the new "Weather Widget" LOL...)

    Now it's August 11th.
    So the moontext should show: "Full on Aug. 21"
    but after August 21 it should NOT show "Full on Sept. 19"
    it should be showing the next "New" moon date: "New on Sept. 5"
    Then after Sept. 5 it should show the next Full moon date: "Full on Sept. 19"

    In other words, the code should look forward from todays date, stop when it finds either "New" (code 1) or "Full" (code 14) then display the moontext for it.

    So this makes it nice and complicated because half the time it should show "New on:" and the other half "Full on:" LOL...
    My head can't even think of how to start coding this LOL....

    On windows, I use "BeyondCompare" to compare any type of files side by side. It is awesome.

    I also have some feeds that provide some very detailed sun, moon, rise, set or whatever.

    Someone riddle me this.. IF i wanted to keep Ian's walls in one Images folder - but wanted to reference the PATH to them from ANOTHER widget.. Is that possible? Rather than having multiple copies of that huge folder.. I know the syntax exists in locations.js to get to the myLocation.txt.. something like file:../../../../myLocantion.txt..

    If I have two SB mods in var/stash/Themes -- one called UniAW6.4_SB and the one called FerlopUniAW6.4.. Is there a way I can get whichever file in the Ferlop one to reference UniAW6.4_SB/Images/TimedWalls ??? I sure hope so.. And then WHERE in WHICH file does it point to the TimedWalls folder to choose the next one to display? If I know the path syntax and where the Images are called for -- I'm good to go...

    Thanks in advance for anyone willing to give Grant his next coding lesson...
