    I've used it on a few different i5's. Worked perfectly each time. Used on 1 4S so far and didn't have issues on that one either.

    I installed the top package and just let it sit on your phone for safety, unless you want to clean your phone

    Default Help!
    Hi fellow coders.

    I decided to try again to do a "No Cookie" version, I'm almost done (AccuWeather side only for now).
    The "location_accuweather.js file is done.
    The "UniAW6_accuweather.js" file is almost completely done except for the two sections of code below, this is where I'm stuck.
    Unfortunately Dacal is too busy to mess with this at the moment so I'm on my own.
    So far all is (amazingly) still working good, with & without gps.

    I would like to know if any of you know what I replace this two sections of code (below) with, because as soon as I touch it, I loose the sunrise/sunset times and all the forecast.
    This might well mean I have messed up in other places, wouldn't surprise me.

    Code:
    /* START DEMO MODE OR NOT */
    	if (DemoMode == true) {
    		demo();
    	} else {

    		if (UseCookie == true ) {
    		/* RETRIEVE LATEST WEATHER DATA AND RESTORE STATE */
    			if (($.cookie('jsonCookie') != null) && (Update_Always == false)) {
    				xmldata = true;
    				zip = $.cookie('jsonCookie').zip;
    				city = $.cookie('jsonCookie').city;
    				updateTimer = $.cookie('timerCookie');
    				dealWithWeather ({error:false, storage:true});
    				if (gps == true) { UpdateLocation(); }
    			} else {
    				$.removeCookie('locationCookie'); // REMOVE PREVIOUS COORDINATES
    				$.removeCookie('timerCookie'); // RESET TIMER
    				$.removeCookie('offlineCookie'); // REMOVE OFFLINE STATE
    			}
    		} else {
    			$.removeCookie('jsonCookie'); // REMOVE WEATHER INFORMATIONS
    			$.removeCookie('locationCookie');  // REMOVE PREVIOUS COORDINATES
    			$.removeCookie('timerCookie'); // RESET TIMER
    			$.removeCookie('offlineCookie'); // REMOVE OFFLINE STATE
    		}
    	}

    	updateClock();
    	if (Second_Hand_Sweep == true ) { setInterval(updateClock, 100); }
    	else { setInterval(updateClock, 1000); }

    } // END of init function
    AND

    Code:
    // CREATE A COOKIE WITH ALL WEATHER INFORMATIONS
    	var weather = JSON.stringify(obj);
    	$.cookie('jsonCookie', weather, {expires: 365});

    	// REMOVE OFFLINE COOKIE
    	$.removeCookie('offlineCookie');

    	callback (obj);

    }).fail(function() {
    	$.cookie('offlineCookie', true, {expires: 365});
    	if (xmldata == true ) {
    		document.getElementById("coordinates").className = "TextColorRed";
    		document.getElementById("coordinates").innerHTML = "OFFLINE";
    	} else {
    		if ($.cookie('jsonCookie') != null ) {
    			xmldata = true;
    			callback ({error:false, storage:true});
    		} else {
    			callback ({error:true});
    		}
    	}
    });
    }
    I also attach here the "location_accuweather.js" file and the "UniAW6_accuweather.js" file incase you need to see all I have done.

    I sure hope some of you guys can help me out with this.

    Thanks for trying/helping.

    Update on the sick sleep button -

    So I took in my iPhone 5 on 6.1 jailbroken but after a fresh restore. I hid Cydia in a folder called games and put it as the last icon.

    The guy tried the sleep button, it didn't work. He unlocked the phone, went to the settings app and got the serial number. He didn't mention anything about it being on 6.1 or the fact it doesn't have a badge on the settings icon!! He said they can fix camera issues but the button issues are usually poor circuit connections so much easier to just replace the phone.

    He then took the sim out got a new iPhone 5 and gave it to me.

    I was in and out in less than 7 minutes!! But now I have a brand new iPhone 5 on 6.1.4 and Apple have a jailbroken iPhone 5 in their possession. I know they will restore it but I would absolutely love someone to buy a refurbed 5 and it appears with Cydia on it!!!!

    Oh yes I see the problem. The hip bone is connected to the thigh bone not the ankle.

    With reference to my post #8173.

    If we completely remove the first section of code, i.e like this:

    Code:
    /* START DEMO MODE OR NOT */
    	if (DemoMode == true) {
    		demo();
    	}

    	updateClock();
    	if (Second_Hand_Sweep == true ) { setInterval(updateClock, 100); }
    	else { setInterval(updateClock, 1000); }

    } // END of init function
    It looks like it works fine on the Mac, but on the phone the forecast & sunrise/sunset times are gone. This is the worst king of errors to find!
    Just thought I would throw this out their so if you are trying to help me you are aware it needs to be tested on the phone.

    EDIT

    I just realised that in the "location_accuweather.js" file posted above, I have left the link for testing GPS on the Mac, please change this:

    // jQuery.get('file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/myLocation.txt', function(appdata) {
    jQuery.get('myLocation.txt', function(appdata) {

    Back to this:

    jQuery.get('file:///private/var/mobile/Documents/myLocation.txt', function(appdata) {
    // jQuery.get('myLocation.txt', function(appdata) {

    Sorry if it caused anybody some confusion.

    Whew, what a day on the Mac, I got so fed up with OS X Mavericks (beta 3), so many bugs and very slow, so today I backed up all my Mac and did a fresh install of Snow Leopard, it's by far the best OS in my opinion, now my Mac is back to super fast.
    All I got to do now is re-install all my programs, hope I can find all my registration details/serial numbers.

    SnowLeopard is a ROCK.. But Mavericks will be amazing and a game changer for Apple.. Like iOS7 is a game changer! All betas of OSX have been clunky in the early betas. To its credit SnowLeopard was only problematic and unusable in beta 1. By beta 2 is was already rock solid. I just have been too busy in the middle of critical projects at the studio this time to beta test Mavericks. Now I won't even consider it per your experience, Ian.
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!
