Look at any of the 6.3 versions.
    Are you modding 6.21?
Yep. 6.3 is only a beta per you, bro. So I wanted to work with 6.21.. which is still on page 1 as a "current version".. But I've done several tests now and the StarBackground was indeed broken in 6.21. Does not appear at all.. The twinkling stars appear because they're within "starContainer" which is called for in HTML and defined in UniAW6.css. But starsBGContainer is called for in HTML in 6.21 and then not defined in UniAW6.css for 6.21 at all. As soon as you change the entry from #starsBG (currently in 6.21's UniAW6.css) to #starsBGContainer - the static stars appear. ..

All fixed in 6.3 choice beta. But broken in the 6.21 posted on page 1.. Glad I'm at a point I can find and diagnose that stuff.

I don't know how you keep it all straight Ian.. You're amazing!!!

    Heading to bed. 2am here..

I'm hoping someone can help. Iv been following on here for a while. Iv got the 6.21 wb version on my ip4. I love it, But I'm having to re-spring to change the location, but when I use Ferlops mod version that works fine, no re-spring required even with the setting set the same. Iv tried a few different things with no luck. Sorry if Iv Missed something in a past post.

A few days ago I installed the new OS X Mavericks Developer Preview, now I wish I hadn't, it still has many many bugs and quite a lot of my software won't run with it including "DiscAid which I use to transfer files to & from my phone and Skype doesn't work either I see beta 2 is out now so I'm trying without much success to download it, hopefully it will fix some issues.
Beta 2 definitely fixed some of it Ian. not Skype tho

    Video tutorial (Photoshop).

There are lots of nice landscape images on the web that we could use in our weather widgets, but with animated widgets we don't really want to see clouds on the images as they are already in the animations, so what's the best way to get rid of the clouds on these images?

This is why I made this 15 minute tutorial, it's not difficult, a novice photoshop user should be able to follow along quite easily. I just wanted to show you this method as I believe it is overlooked by many.

I had to make the video high res so everything is crystal clear for you, so the download is around the 300MB mark, sorry about that.

I also include the original image incase you want to follow along.

Basically you will be doing this:

Hope it is useful to some of you.

So appreciate this Ian.. But we can't tell your mouse and keyboard actions.. Single clik? Double clik? Clik drag? Option clik? Can we assume every mouse action is single clik or clik drag?

    ---
On another point - have you ever had a widget work on the computer (TacoHTML Edit or Chrome, etc.) and then NOT work on the phone??? What's up with that!? My mod is working on computer - not on phone. Animations never start..

    Hi Grant,

1st, watch the tut before you comment, you're talking about the first one.

2nd, yes, syntax error or something spelled with a capital when it should be small case (or vice versa), one word wrong can break the widget in IOS, I've had this a few times.

Thx alot for that SB mod, looks very clean Which mod can I use for that overlay?
Does I need any css file or something to get all in the right positions, or can I use
one of the mods from here, like the one from SiMON or Chevy?

Does anyone know where to get Yahoo's newest list of weather condition codes? The old list in UniAW and other weather widget's main.js file is woefully outdated. In our widgets I see things like:
    Thunder In Vicinity
    Rain with Thunder
    Showers
    Light Rain
    Heavy Rain
    Rain..

They're all different condition numbers in the 1-48 - and yet they're not listed anywhere. Where can we find which code number corresponds to the actual text we see in our widgets?
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

I have that list, bro. We've had that list for a couple of years. It's not up to date. Note 11 and 12 are both 'showers'. But Yahoo splits them up now with different names as they do for all the thunderstorms one. When you see descriptions in all our widgets you see many more names that aren't in the list below. Hell - there isn't even one named RAIN and I see that all the time. There's actually Rain, Light Rain and Heavy Rain all differentiated in our widgets. So that list is WAY out of date. I read in a couple of articles on the net that Yahoo updated their weather condition code designations about a year ago.. But developers have been having trouble finding an official list from Yahoo. Thought you and Durben might have come across the new list working with this new tweak.

    Rain with Thunder
    Showers
    Light Rain
    Heavy Rain
    Rain..

They're all different condition numbers in the 1-48 - and yet they're not listed anywhere. Where can we find which code number corresponds to the actual text we see in our widgets?
Maybe this link will shed some "other" light upon your request! Other Yahoo developer info here too....
