    Would this then be the correct syntax within clear.js, fair.js, etc - that would have stars - to allow star creation to happen across the full panorama when my Pano_Sun_Moon var is set to true?

    Code:
    function createAstar() {
        var starDiv = document.createElement("div");
        var image = document.createElement("img");
        image.src = "Images/Weather/moon/star" + randomInteger(1, NUMBER_OF_LIGHT_IMAGES) + ".png";
        starDiv.style.top = pixelValue(randomInteger(0, 100));
        if (Pano_Sun_Moon == true){
        starDiv.style.left = pixelValue(randomInteger(10, 1029));
        } else {
        starDiv.style.left = pixelValue(randomInteger(10, 310));
        }
        starDiv.style.webkitAnimationName =  "star_anim";
        starDiv.style.webkitAnimationDuration = durationValue(randomInteger(5, 20));
    starDiv.style.webkitAnimationDelay = durationValue(randomInteger(1, 10));
        starDiv.appendChild(image);
        return starDiv;
    }

    And Ian.. maybe I'm wrong or maybe you fixed it already in 6.3 Choice Beta.. But in 6.2.1 I think tracked down a code error that's been plaguing my forward motion on my mod.. In the HTML you create a div called:
    <div id= "starsBGContainer"</div>
    but then in the .css you refer to it as only:
    #starsBG {

    Consequently the Stars Background sky pic doesn't show. Am I understanding correctly?

    Grant
    There's a few things wrong with that. I didn't look hard I just spent most the day doing tedious translations stuff. Eyes are tired.

    I think for what you want to do its easier to have the js change the star container width and also just reference a larger background image. You might want to try it like that and leave the star creation as is to see how it works out. Easier and would likely look as good.

    document.getElementById('starsContainer').style.wi dth="1029px";
    document.getElementById('starsBG').style.src="what ever folder/name you put your new images in";

    It looks fine, but the whole weather animations, like the clouds, fog, the sun, the stars etc. are behind the overlay, and the fullScreenWeatherWalls are cutted at the bootom. Any way to fit the animations, and the fullScreenWeatherWalls, between the top clock and the bottom, so that no aminations and fullScreenWeatherWalls are cutted off
    hello friend, I know it is not perfect because not had time to test all the animations.
    and you are right I will review this calmly.

    Thanks, D. I was thinking about that.. But the code you've given me there seems like it would work for a BACKGROUND single image.. Though that IS something I need to do - Ian accomplishes his nighttime look by making TWO kinds of stars.. One that is a STAR by STAR twinkling animation - and one that is a matte background picture of DISTANT stars - that don't twinkle. What my code above was for was the TWINKLING STAR by STAR animation. I just needed is to extend the 1029px width of the panorama. Ian's right - I need to add overflow: hidden to make sure it only works panoramically on main page and not extend to page 2 of SB.

    So - were you aware of the two different stars image creation process that Ian uses? And if so - is the alternate code you gave me there to address the twinkling stars? Or the static image? It looks to me like your help there is for the static starsBG image..

    ----
    And Ian - from your last post to me.. Am I to understand that starsBGContainer and starsBG are two different elements? Because starsBGcontainer is called for in the html but never defined at all in the UniAW6.css file.. in 6.21_WB
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    Hi,

    Not too hard this one, I'm sure you will get it in minutes.
    Open the LockBackground.html file and look for this:

    <div id="TouchForecast" class="forecastMoveUp">
    <div id="forecastbg" class="fade-in-wall"></div>
    <div id="forecastInfo" class="fade-in-wall">

    Now make some space for other things, like this:

    <div id="TouchForecast" class="forecastMoveUp">

    <div id="forecastbg" class="fade-in-wall"></div>
    <div id="forecastInfo" class="fade-in-wall">

    Now lets add some stuff:

    In the same file, look for the div with what you want to add.
    e.g. lets add City and description (desc)
    So, cut the div for city and desc and paste it into the space you made earlier, like this:

    <div id="TouchForecast" class="forecastMoveUp">
    <div id="city"></div>
    <div id="desc"></div>

    <div id="forecastbg" class="fade-in-wall"></div>
    <div id="forecastInfo" class="fade-in-wall">

    Thats it.

    Yes and no, the starsBG is the static stars image name, the starsBGContainer is just a container I place the image in.

    Okay.. but wouldn't the starsBGContainer need to get defined in the UniAW6.css to appear? I just can't see an entry for it. And I don't see the starsBG called for anywhere in the Widget.html.. That's why I thought there was a misspelling. Should know better. You're a master coder.. I'm a beginner.. I just realized from your last post that there's whole FRICKIN' folder of other '.css' files for JUST the weather elements.. Ugggh.. I'm such a noob.. I found SO many things I was looking for in those folders.. including the style definition for Static_cloud.. I feel like I know where I'm going now.. Almost done this mod to make all distant sky images be moving panoramically. Am having fun learning... I hope someone else doesn't release it first - just 'because they can'.. LOL!!!!!!

    Haven't I already done that? I think the only thing in mine that doesn't scroll with the wallpaper is the static cloud.

    Well you told me your sun and moon didn't travel the distance of the panorama until I talked to you about it.. And I'm doing the static clouds too which i don't think you have done yet.. in your most recent version..

    Mine is also way thinner on resources (no 425MB) LOL!.. It's two separate Wb themes; MJ's 30 minute Pano Walls and UniAW6.21_WB anim only with certain rotating elements. My mod is designed to be simply added to any version of UniAW and any set of timed walls that runs with NO weather info of any kind. So it's crazy lean on memory.. It's a TIMED WALL-Only, Animation Only back drop against which you can add iWidgets for weather info itself. So yes.. you indeed have 95% of the moving parts of mine and I'm grateful for our brainstorm from the other day, Simon!!
    Right now the StarBackground image at 1029px and the Static Cloud 1029 you sent me are getting all squished into a 320px container somehow. Looks really weird. Trying to track that down..

    Also - since I have two WB elements running Panoramic at the same time, there is, after 18 hours or so, a lost of synchronization between the two.. Even though I have both set to 160.0s - there must be a different size of photo used in MJ's walls.. than 1029..
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    Ya, was you mentioning it that motivated me to get it done. Still haven't done the static clouds in mine yet no, been a little focused on something else I've been working on and was refining the up/down movement in the framed iwidget I did up. Not sure if it will help you with this or not but it is the same kind of concept and I ended up going a completely different route with it that made the movement stay in sync and was way more efficient. I ended up putting every element I wanted to move in a container I called PanoContainer. That allowed me to only have to use the pano animation once instead of applying it to each individual element.

    Yeah.. the container containing multiple containers is a good way to go.. But at least the stars creation method needs a different way of coding to get the createAstar thingie to work across a 1029px width. Changing the width of the container in a css definition doesn't do it. Tried. Then there's the 'variable' I want - in the config.js to turn it on and off. That's accomplished on in an IF statement in the js. So what I'm doing I think is a smidgen more complex than can be accomplished in the containers in a container method. But I will stare at my code for a while and see if I can reimagine it with that method.

    Thanks, Simon!
    I LOVE your Lockscreen.. I have seen a repeated picture yet in 2 weeks. LOVE all those different walls... Great idea..
